I think BurritaSVT made a thread concerning motors sitting for awhile , I'd be less concerned about the WP, and more concerned about internals.

meh the intakes and cams just make the motors power in different areas. imo you being turbo and having traction issues anyway, the svt cams and intake would be a better setup so you make more high rpm power. I have had both, and i honestly cant say one is better than the other but I can say i think my current ported 3l feels more powerful than my old full 3l car and this current car has no exhaust mods yet the full had headers and a full trubendz setup.
i just stated my opinion of things, I have owned both, I am not going to get into a debate on this. The SVT intake would be a huge bottle neck with the turbo. The flow numbers don't lie.
Those are the valve covers you want to run... Better PCV system.
I didn't read your whole thread but if you're finally ready to make some real power you should leave those 3 liter cams and Oval port intakes on.

As long as you can get the cherry picker legs to fit under the car without hitting jack stands then you are fine.

If you want a better way to put the power down, why don't you look at a final drive swap? Why create less power to keep the traction when something like that would help more.

that was in the plan as well. is there a howto somewhere for that? or am i gonna have to take it to a tranny shop to get it done?
Ask LivinSVT. If you have a tranny question, he is the guy to go to...did a fantastic job on my transmission. You can even ship your tranny out to him if you want.

As I CLEARLY stated above I have owned BOTH, wait till I get this car I have on a dyno I'll leave it at that.It is smart to not get yourself into a debate you're sure to lose. Split ports are great on 2.5s. em on a 3 liter.
Send your trans to Livin, get the Zetec FD.
Leave the oval port manifolds, you'll love how the car drives. Trust me!
