I know I'm interested in a single one, but might be inclined to go with the PVC/VC set up instead. So does that make me a half for each of the two choices?

My winter beater should be done tomorrow, and then i can devote all my time to this. i'll be ordering fittings tomorrow, so i should have them monday for assembly and pictures..

Steeda has a similar kit for Mustangs: http://www.steeda.com/products/steeda_oil_separator.php
There was a big discussion on these Oil Separators a while back on the CC forum.

One of the pages shows a Campbell Hausfield 'Mini General Purpose Filter'' for around $12 that may also work.

I'm using the same filters that comes with the Steeda kit. I believe they're all manufactured by CH.

I do have one question about the setup. Is this going to flow enough air to keep the crankcase vented well enough? I know its definitely good to get the oil out, but if there is too much pressure created by the filter, that's not good either.

Considering it's designed for filtering the CFM associated with compressed air, i have no reason to believe it will be insufficient for the flow of a crank case vent.

I discussed this with Josh though PM's and after our discussion have no doubt's about this setup's capability to effectively filter out oil and still flow enough air to allow the PCV to work properly.

Finished my winter beater, then crashed it with 40 miles on it....
