If I opt for the blank etching space, do I need to determine what size I want left blank or will it all be the same? I'd like enough room to fit an oval of some sort in the future :)
 
I guess I would be ok with 2 grooves if it will help speed along this GB :cool: But I would like to see more of a "U" shape to the groove. I'm not a huge fan of cleaning my car with a Q-tip :rolleyes:

Chas, you can get 3 grooves! :cool:

The grooves will be 1/4" wide with a "radiused" end (a perfect half-circle).

I thought it would all be the same - 3 letters or 4 numbers - but Autovation said they will do any size you want, and they are willing to dig out the blank area to whatever depth you specify so that your "oval of some sort" is flush with the top of the plate. :cool: Come to think of it, that would be a great way for you guys to get copyrighted logos on these plates: get spare Ford emblems (et al) and have them embedded in the plates.

I need to clarify a few things. First, would everybody please specify whether etching is only on the front sills or whether it is both front and rear.

Secondly,
1. Chas, you want the popular logo that matches your pedals, right? were your pedals satin or machined? :ponder:
4. CSVT#49, i know you want the popular logo. no need to reply. ;)
5. hotdimmes, did you want SE on yours or the blank spot in the middle? if a spot, how big? :confused:
6. fcsvt1, i need your build number... :help:

Will the cross-section of the groove be "radiused" as well, like the hull of a boat, instead of square like guttering? That way you can just drag a rag down the groove, and your finger will fit in the curve to clean it.

Soopa,

I am very interested in a 3 groove plain sill set w/o etching but without seeing a drawing or photo hesitant to pull the trigger. Any chance Autovation can supply a sketch.
