What did you do to your Contour today?

Thanks, it actually doesn't have a slot for a CD. It does have an ipod interface cable (not a headphone jack), which is really the only way I listen to music anymore. Every once in a while someone asks to pop in a CD, and I have to tell them sorry.

I also screwed the defroster vent cover on to hide the wavy dash. Some people think it is ugly, but I like it.

I've got a clarion fz502 media receiver in mine, looks very similar. I also rarely listen to xds, so it's either Bluetooth with my phone, or running off my iPod.

Thanks Mike! I love the car! I can't take too much credit though... It was well taken care of its whole life by enthusiasts. I'm just keeping her nice (well trying...) Polished up the lights too!

Finally figured out the previous owner did the SVT Focus brake upgrade. The parts store couldn't figure out why the rotors were 12" and all they listed was 10.5...

Wednesday I test drove my soon to be Contour- 2000 svt black/ tan all stock 119k miles. After beating him up good- and him dropping in price 2,000$ bucks and me going 200 dollars up from my original offer we parted ways. Today after negotiations and either of us budging on the 300$ difference. 3 hours later he says it's a deal. I will be picking it up Saturday- it's in need of a clutch right away. So I'll probably just drive it right to the shop. Was still able to test drive it, drove great otherwise. Tint is turning purple/ back window bubbling. Sunroof no work. Missing rear mess. I'm need of tires soon(the things I beat him up on) Other than that interior was flawless, outside was great no damage, minus some scratches. He originally wanted 4 grand for it- needing a clutch.

Yikes 4k is steep. I paid $1500 for mine with same mileage new tires and recent clutch from the original owner. $2000 sounds good

Washed/sealed/waxed it. Mystique rear dime with led. Led foot well and dome lights. Made and installed my red led switches, rewired my auto diming rear view and put in a pre98 diming control switch.
