What did you do to your Contour today?

Found its replacement! Motors has a tap in the top end, so I'm swapping all my stuff from the black one to this one.

Finally changed plugs and wires, what a difference it made, she sure runs smooth now! I was having some random misfires, glad that was all it was!

Agreed!

Last night I tried to track down why my rear suspension is dang squeaky when I go over bumps... I failed lol.

I drove mine today, 1st time in like 2 weeks lol, My rear suspension just makes a clunk noise instead of a Squeak haha

My e0 has been down for a couple months with a leaking steering rack.

Got the motor out of my silver e1 today, now I need to get the 3L out of the e0 and into the e1. Over the past few days since I picked it up I replaced the rear subframe and rear suspension with my e0 subframe and d2 coilovers.

Picking up another SVT today. Silver frost one this time. Supposedly has 125,000 miles on the engine and trans. Body has 200,000. It runs really good. I'm excited to be getting another one.

Very nice!! Just curious is that the one in the CEG Classifieds? there was one that matched that description..

Fixed the broken tabs on my headlight... Man I hated that shaky headlight at night! So nice now!

Years ago I got a set of crystal clear headlights from my dads salvage yard,(contour with 60,000 miles) the down side, all the tabs where broken!! my friend that owned a shop and was able to get them glued the broken tabs together, been good ever since.

Every now and then I can find a set of semi-decent headlights at a junkyard. After polishing them up, I have been using JB Weld to coat the cracked, but intact tabs. So far, after 10000+ miles, the reinforced tabs are still holding up.

I suppose it wasn't really my contour, but I went to the junkyard and found a SVT that wasn't listed as a SVT. I snagged the front bumper cover, front quarter panel and a jp cover. I really ought not to do these things on hot sunny days.
