200,000 mile club

My 98.5 Silver Frost has finally hit 200,000 miles today. I will have owned it for eleven years this September and have put all but 54 miles on it..I still love to drive it and it has been a great car...just wanted to tell people that may appreciate it as not all do..thanks for listening!
 
thats awesome! it makes me feel a little better about purchasing my car that now has 110,xxx, its been a new england car its whole life(as far as carfax tells me). i hope to join you there one day, im never going to sell my car:cool:
 
I can only wait for my svt to hit that kind of mileage. I plan on keeping it that long. It will be fun till than.

Congrats. Its good to hear that you've enjoyed owning it its whole life.
 
200,527 as of this morning..

I just erased my post about how great she is and how she doesnt need or go thru a lot of stuff other svt's do, but then I remembered how much I eat my words so yeaaaa

I'm hoping to start a thread about the 300,000 mile club in a few months, if I don't get the new car fever before then. At the moment, sitting at 283,500 miles on the odometer, all driven by me.

See, now that's an accoplishment. 200k+ on a stock auto trans is crazy. My brother has 210k on his stock auto also. It has that code for the bad clutch lock but has no drivability issues at all.
 
My 98 Silver Frost has 210,000+, getting ready for some replacement parts but overall we have done very little to it. My brother bought it new in 97 and gave it to me two years ago when he joined the import side. This is my thrid SVT, the first was a Cobra, then this and a Focus.
 
This was my Mystique's odometer on 18 May 2009. Unfortunately, this car was totaled a few months later, as a result of being rear-ended by a Honduh.

I estimated this reading to be about 16,000 miles short, due to a period of about a year back in 2003-2004, when the odometer was nonfunctional.

My very first car, a 1969 Falcon station wagon, also had about 220,000 miles on it when it finally died of natural causes. It crossed the 200,000 mile mark on a trip to Los Angeles in 1995, in preparation for my wedding to take place shortly thereafter.

My current Contour just recently passed 140,000 miles.
