buy not careing, lol. no i needed a bit of a brake (that and i have been busy lately) from all my problems with them so i took the week off ill be back at it this monday. ill have either a plan, an answer, a dream, another option or tale of how all hope was lost.
 
Dillon im sorry to see that you are having problems with the calipers and lines now that you have the nice new rotors and pads installed. I have had my fair share of broken bleeder screws and it sucks every time. I will say, if you havent yet pick up some speed bleeders from advance auto for like $0.50 a pack (Dorman/Help! brand). just look online for the right dimensions for the car and then find the ones that match. they may have to order them in but should be able to get them quickly (along with the calipers). they will make bleeding the brakes so much easier.
 
They are bleeding fine. I think they are just old and not sliding anymore.
 
Dillion I wish I could help ya, but I wouldn't trust junkyard calipers anyways. Plus it's a long drive to your place from here lol. I would've posted on xceed but damn if I don't remember my user name!
 
Sounds like some new calipers will solve the problem and to be honest, better now in your driveway than coming down a 9% grade and having an issue! We'll keep an eye on your build thread for the updates or here, which ever one you want, keep your chin up and there's plenty of time to get this all sorted out, don't sweat it. BTW, I'll be back home this weekend, coming in late Friday and leaving sometime on Sunday and I might make it out to Woodward Sat night but no promises but I will be at the monthly Kart2Kart w/ Derek this Saturday morning, come on out and check out some rides with us.

Unless there's some new places that have opened since I moved away 2 years ago, I'm sure I know where to go, remember, I'm 41 years old:

-Mexican...Armondo's (Mexicantown)

-BBQ...Slo's (Corktown)

-Italian...Luciano's (Clinton Township)

-Burgers...hmmm (Doyles-Plymouth, Bronx Burger-Warren or Poole's Tavern-Northville)

Ummm, are you referring to a diner? If so, there's Don's of Traverse City in Novi or if you wanna take a trip across state you can hit Rosie's Diner, the BEST stuffed French toast and was on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives. Its in Rockford MI IIRC, I was last there in 07' for SZ, great food, lunch and breakfast. Hectour is correct, I'm a car, food and music snob to the umpteenth extent! I know this, we're all DRAGON SNOBS! Speaking of that.......

I already told him he could stay with us. He hasn't committed yet.

The t-shirt project will be started in September. I am counting on my artist buddy to design the shirt and use his own screen printing equipment, so I am tied to his schedule and availability.

I brought this up to you because he posted over on xceedspeed that he hadn't heard from you guys, just being the middle man here, I'll post over there and let him know. When it comes down to it though, we'll either get some people in there or you guys will have plenty of room in there, its not like its that expensive anyways, right.

Now about the shirts, cool, sounds like we'll have them in time for the run, are we going with that design many pages back, I thought that was pretty cool. Maybe next year we can get those double sided shirts, I really like my idea of "GET BENT" on the back of the shirts, makes a statement and makes people look at the front to see what that's all about, a good conversation starter no matter where your at!

BTW Randy, how's the car and what tires did you end up going with again?

Billy, anything new on the Mah-zda?

the shirt design will be close to the one several pages back. we can do double sided once i get my own screenprinting setup.

the s2000 is doing great. i still have lots of tread on the bf goodrich's i bought a few months ago, and the continental tires that came on the front wheels are still really good. i probably wont buy tires before the run.
 
Sorry if I missed somebody trying to room with us. I've been on vacation, but it sounds like Randy got it.

I've found the perfect campfire companion for when we get back from running Moonshiner 28. Moonshine! A friend of mine was just up there and brought back some from Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine in Gatlinburg. I tried some and it's perfect! No stealing Jerry's bish beers this time! :laugh:

good news erry body. i have my own car i can take. ill post the details later this week when i get it all finsihed up. no lame pontiac for me. lol even tho it will prolly be better then what i got.


i wanted to get a pair of good shoes for this. but i dbout i will. i like my old eckos or how ever its spelled. there nice and thin unlike my big fat DC's i have always like them for driving
