Just wanted to let you guys know that Trey is looking to room up with someone on Friday and Saturday night. He doesn't have internet access right now, so he asked me to post this up for him. He's willing to pay $50.00 towards cabin rent as well. Trey starts a new job this Monday, so this is why he'll be coming out there on Friday evening. I'll let him know that half our group is running it at night and the other half is heading towards the cabins. I'm thinking you guys not running the Dragon at night should arrive back at the cabins around 7-8 or so, so he'll have to just wait there for you guys to show up, whenever you do. So, if you can help Trey out here, post it here and I'll let him know, thanks!

Hey Dan, you don't really need to bring the grill, we go out to dinner every night while we're out there and besides, how would you get it back:shrug:

Check the batteries in your 2-ways or bring fresh ones, don't forget your campfire chair(s), as well as the car stuff like quart of oil, fix-a-flat, wheel cleaner, etc.

We were talking tire pressure on xceedspeed and its VERY important! Jim said he noticed more psi when running the Dragon than the Skyway and to that I say this, check your psi in the morning, EVERY MORNING! He said the Skyway doesn't create as much heat as the Dragon but you do carry some speed on the Skyway though, so you'd think it would go up alot there too. I'm going to make sure mine are 33 psi every morning, since that's what it says on the door jam. This is probably the best thing you can do for optimum perf and safety out there! Don't assume their ok, check em'.

I usually don't want the weekends to go by fast but this weekend, oh yeah, FLY YOUR ASS BY!

I'll let Randy chime in on this before I say for sure, but I think we have room for Trey in our cabin.
If Dan's offering his grill (thanks by the way Dan) we should take it. We already talked about grilling one night to switch it up a little, and save a little money for anybody that might not have it in their budget to eat out every meal.

All local speed shops are out of NOS :(. My guy filled 13 bottles this morning! Byon has a wheel standing contest this weekend. What better way to get the wheels up the NOS .
Just need to bleed the brakes, install NGK nos plugs, HIDS, test car, and alignment. Not sure if I'm going to tackle the exhaust manifolds.

Randy's street?

Our cabin currently has TorDefine (ken), his friend, Billy, myself, and my friend Gabriel. The cabins are pretty big, so I am sure we can make room. My only stipulation is there better be hot water when I go to shower.

We DEFINITELY NEED to take the grill. I along with other folks several posts back want to grill at least one night. No offense Roger, I know how you love supporting the local economy, but the food in Tellico Plains is nothing to write home about. If folks want to eat out every night, go for it. I am sure we could have at least a few folks willing to grill some steaks by a campfire.

I can eat at a mediocre restaurant at home. I can only camp and enjoy a meal under the stars away from civilization.

oil change done, comptech intake filter cleaned and drying over night. Tomorrow I will oil and install the filter, detail the car a bit, and I am ready to go!

Roger, I can just meet up with one of the guys heading back through Louisville afterwards. Trey still has one of my 2-way radios and allen key set from last years run that he is going to bring so whoever is going to take the camp grill and dutch oven can grab those from him as well.

I have a CB related question. I bought a Cobra 19X trucker style CB. It came with an external mount antenna. It works, I hear people on the radio. I also have a cheapy hand held 2 way Bell South model 2231. I also hear people on that one. I turn both to the same channel I either hear one or the other. I had my son on the same channel with the handheld but I couldn't hear him. I had him walk to the corner and nothing. Any ideas? Which one would be better?

I figured out the situation with the radios. A CB works on AM where the 2 ways work on VHF. So I bought the wrong carp. My tiny hand held will have to do.

LOL....I have cheap hand held 2 ways...they work fine.

Roger, I was going to say that we will drive past Dan on the way back too. He will get his grills back.

I think grilling out for dinner one night is a good idea.

Don't forget the hot sauce!
