"THE" Official 2010 Fall Dragon Run...Oct 7th thru 10th!

I really want to make it out to this but I don't think I will have my car back together by this time plus I might be seeing my 4yr old that lives 300 miles away from me.

Will wood be supplied? Or should we all pitch in a little. I don't want to be the freeloader / xceeder that no one knows.

No firewood is supplied, but let's not forget that Hector's dad will be there again to scavenge for wood!
I actually planned on getting some on my way up like I did last year. If I can't get any or don't get enough, then we can all find some on Thursday I guess.

I am getting closer, the knock sensor comes in, in the morning, and the exhaust manifold gasket does too. Also ordered a O-ring for the bottom sensor on the radiator. Since i did drop a feeler gauge down in the moor I was not able to check the intake side lash, so tonight I am going to buy another, I promise I wont drop it down, I am attaching a like a 8 foot string to it -.-

Hectour's Dad is the man when it comes to gathering wood for the campfire, he's "chopping at the bit" to do this again I bet:laugh:

Just a heads up to everyone, the last person I added to the list, Chris with the turbo'd Alero is planning on staying in Robinsville, so not sure how much of him and his buddy we'll be seeing:shrug: I tried providing info on other places near the cabin but he wants to stay in Robinsville for some reason:rolleyes:

hehe LOL :P

I just sold the wife's old car (turbo beetle) within three hours of posting it online. That is one less thing to worry about before the trip. An oil change and detailing and I am ready to go. Billy(4moshin), Ken(TOreDEFINE), Ken's brother and I are headed down there Wednesday. Anybody have a better idea of whether or not you are coming down a day early?

That guy Chris posted a pic of his #1 plug and its pretty destroyed! I don't know if its from running too lean or the injector isn't doing its job, but he's taking the injectors to this place that specializes in injectors. Yet another reason why you wanna stay near the group I guess:shrug:

12 days to go!

CRAP! I better hurry up. It looks like I have to drop the rear craddle to intall those bushing ERRR! The right rear strut is leaking so the Koni's are going in....hope they work. I have'nt heard anything from Todd so the exhaust will have to wait.

As of last night:

Oh wait, all anthrasite, right?

Looking up images of the wheels using "Drag" netted some not so pleasing results, LOL!

These will look good on his car as long as he does the CF wrap on the roof to tie it all in:cool: BTW, its not this car either, just the rims!

Hey Roger, don't steal my thunder.....I am just thinking here. It's either new wheels next year or the Aero lip to make the front end more aggressive! These would be my dream wheels for the car:

Hirsch 3-Spokes!!! Too bad they stopped making them and when they did it was $1000 a rim!!!

Hey Derek, can you post pics of the Aero front end vs. yours? I'd go with rims over the bumper personally and I think everyone else would go that route as well.

Everyone else, just spoke to a guy named JJ from the Fit site and he's looking to join our run. He asked for Dixie's number and I told him if she's booked up to get numbers from her for other places in the area. He'll be arriving late on Friday, so it looks like he'll be running with us all day on Sat and might stay there on Sunday and return home on Monday. Anyone else going home Monday? BTW, he sounds like an older guy, so nothing to worry about there (no offense to the younger guys, ok)

Right now, we're anywhere from 25-30 cars for sure.....AMAZING!
