Well i certainly will not be taping up my car. The front bumper and lip are sort of not in the best of shape since i let me dad drive the car he hit a curb. Nothing really noticeable to most people, but he already bought me a new Ap2 bumper and a Ap2 lip. i will have the work done this winter.

I've been back home 5x's with my car since the end of February, stone chips....?, yeah, I've got em' I'm going to have the hood covered in the good, thick CF vinyl tape in the spring. I wish I had this done when I first bought the car, oh well:shrug:

The blue tape was a good idea by Chris with his "then new" Civic Si 4 door.

No sports numbers or musical numbers today......15 days to go:cool:

Roger here is a map and address of the place I have been telling you about for food. it is really easy to get to, but if you want I can always meet you guys on the interstate somewhere (even up in southern Indiana if need be). I didnt go too far back on I-64 as i figured it wasn't necessary to do so.

Dillion, the wheel cleaner is for cleaning your wheels after each run, unless you don't care about keeping them clean. Your car seemed pretty well taken care of and trust me, the brake dust that comes out is unbelievable to say the least. The past couple years I usually helped people out here, but since our run is so big now, its impossible and besides, a $5.00 bottle at Autozone is pretty cheap and would do a good enough job IMO.

Dan, thanks for the map and addy, we'll just meet you there. I've got my Garmin and Hectour has a real cool gps in his car, so we're all set there for sure. Could this place be on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Looks like a couple of you guys are going to be done tomorrow with your cars, post some done pics too.

BTW, does anyone know Jim and Mike with the CSVT and Jon with the Cougar, they've not posted in here yet:shrug:

My turn!

I just got back from the dealership. My wife got a new VW Tiguan. Black 6-speed. See the pics and videos section for my pictures.

Ahh, ok. Well i haven't actually scrubbed my rims in months. I hate them, and they are ugly. I also bought dustless pads.

I'm assuming you didn't see the big rust hole i have with primer on it?

Matt, I like how the struts still have the SVT decal on them:cool: What calipers are those in the kit? What pads did you go with? Certainly, one of the cleanest, well sorted out CSVT's out there, glad your coming out on this run to show everyone the car!

Hectour, you can do the brakes for next years run and speaking of that, are we ever going to paint our calipers:shrug::rolleyes:

Dillion, didn't notice the rust hole, no biggie, trust me, use it as a brake duct:laugh:

Pavel Datsyk number of days to go!

Actually, Jim = JKYoder. I live here and am looking forward to the group showing up.
Any other roads you guys want scouted before the meet?

Sorry Jim, I recognize the screen name for sure, but yeah, don't be a stranger:crazy: Where are you staying while down there? Can you post some pics of your ride?

I got myself a brand new Craftsman air compressor for the trip, my old one still worked but the cord was a mess and I couldn't find a new one, so I just bought a new compressor, $27.00 and now I've got a new one with a built in cord.

2 weeks from right now I'll be TRYING to get some sleep but I don't know about you guys, but I can never get to sleep the night before! Who knows, I might just pack and head down there right away:laugh:
