IT'S ALIVE !!! The xcal and pcm came this morning. I installed the pcm with the turbo tune loaded, checked everything and no juice. We spoke to Joey about running down wiring etc. One final check of all the fuses...and #40 (ignition) was blown. This is one of the square fuses that have a clear top. We took it out several times during this ordeal and it appeared to be ok. Jay took it out and noticed it looked alittle different. It was still touching, but if you shook it or turned it to the side it disconnected the other contact. We went to get one, and wow it now had dash/ignition power. Tried to turn it and no start. It did hiccupa little. So per Joey's thoughts we go to parts store for crank positioning sensor and cam positioning sensor. We replaced the crank sensor, and the cam sensor was the wrong one. We try it and it really wants to start. So Jay holds the throttle wide open and Vroom! He had to manually keep it running, for a bit. It has been sitting for almost 3 weeks. It smoked and smelled of new headers and grease covered exhaust for awhile. It eventually ran at idle. So crank sensor and blown-hard to see fuse kept this down for a week. In hind sight, I probably did not need to send the stuff to SCT, as I'm sure the fuse caused the error in the Xcal3. I took it for a drive and it wants to fall on it's face under light acceleration. If you ease into the gas it is ok, but it needs some tweaking. I'm gonna do some datalogging, and have Joey get it set right. I drove it to get gas and then for a few miles on highway. It held 7# on the highway under easy acceleration. I ain't right, but the BOV made me smile like a lil kid! Thanks for everyone's input. Thanks to Rawburt and Matt from MI. for the install. And Joey is a great guy. He knows these car front to back. Thank you sir. More to come!
