Your question was answered above, but thanks for the compliments :) Couple more pix of the Vette if you guys dont mind (wheels are True Forged thanks Steve)

i dont think thats what he's asking guys... if i'm reading it right, i think he wants to know the clearance differences between the old & new mirko, if any...

i was on the phone yesterday discussing stuff with pete. we talked about possibly making other body panels and stuff for mustangs/lightnings and even contours. ive been hit up about hoods from a few people here. so that may be a possibility in the future. of course, we'd wait till this splitter deal gets all worked out first.

not to derail the thread, just some fyi...

id really be interested in making the rear wing visor that a few people were lucky enough to get their hands on but id need a sample for them to make the mold off of. seems like an impossibility though..

I think you'd find more interest in a hood if you could get everyone to settle on a design.... IF being the key word there lol.

I'd argue the other way - just pick a design, and people can either buy it or have a stock hood. Our cup runneth on empty... or Dunkin'.

Any update here? Are they still on schedule..? Are we looking at late September maybe? October?

Well with these guys, they will tell me a day but sometimes it can be sooner or later. I am going to call tomorrow and find out if they have an update. If it's not this week then I expect it to be very close. They never give me an exact date because you never know what can happen with shipping, customs etc. However once they have an ETA it's usually pretty close. Let me find out tomorrow.

you guys have been extremely patient. i thank all of you sincerely. i know its hard. after talking with pete on the phone, im surprised he has any hair left. these guys DO come through but it can be a "who knows when" type of thing lol. but, I'M used to it working with custom wheels so i know ALL about that. luckily we make them right HERE so i dont have to deal with overseas shipping and customs etc... although some times aluminum can be scarce and we have to order it from overseas and run into similar issues. and not to mention, these guys are making hundreds of different parts for ED at the same time. im thankful that the owner of ED is willing to work on these with us. thats probably due to pete's close relationship with them. if i were to just call in, we might not be so lucky. unless maybe ordering 100 or so splitters up front. most companies (especially big like this one) dont like to deal with such small scale production.

we just shipped out another "blem batch" splitter. 3rd one i think? anywho, i need pics of these on a car. mine wont work...just because...*sigh*... SO. im willing to pay for pics of one installed on a car. if you can email/post up pics of the splitter installed on a car (not jerry rigged but a good install), ill paypal you $20 for the pics. painted or not, either is fine. various angles. showing the install points and all. up close, from far away, etc...

Thanks Steve, and yes I agree you guy's have been really patient. I talked to them yesterday but forgot to post. We are looking at possibly the end of next week having them here, again that is an ETA as this stuff always changes. But they did tell me there is a big priority on these as they know it's been a long time. Im keeping my fingers crossed, but for all those participating be prepared soon to have the balance ready.

So, I am a late bloomer here and dont like to read so i have missed 29 pages of bla bla bla's. Is this a flexible slitter, is it straight and flat to the ground, and how much do these cost?
Again sorry for my laziness.

search for "mirko" in the pix n vids section. u'll see what's been reproduced here. it is "flexible and straight and flat to the ground." pricing is on the first page. first post.

Excuse me for my laziness and not answering your question. I will put enough effort to tell you to go search :)

ok guys, the word has come down that the splitters will be here within the next few days! start sending your balance payments in!

i need ONE person to step up here. what i want is to send out ONE splitter to this person FIRST, before anyone else. this person is to immediately test fit the splitter on their car and post up their results (pics, review). this is important so that we dont ship out a bunch of splitters to people and then find out theyre still not right. ED is guaranteeing this wont be the case, but we (pete/I) would still like to do this just to be sure. i was planning on using my own car originally but that was when they were going to ship a test fit subject first. instead, theyre just shipping over ALL of them and saying they WILL be as promised. my car is down right now and id rather have an impartial person do it anyways. im also extremely limited on time right now.

if, IF the splitter does not fit as promised, you will be due another splitter without shipping charges. AND, for the person who is up to this task, i will refund you the $15 s&h fee after you do so. NOBODY else's splitter will ship out until you give the thumbs up that its good to go! so everyone will be waiting on YOU. but hey, YOU get the first one and you save an extra $15 to boot.

so, if you offer to do this, be SURE that you have the time and ability to do it. im not talking about a painted install here. just place it on the bumper and install it with some self tapping screws (or however you plan to do it). oh yeah, AND ill toss another $20 on top of that $15 for the pics as i promised on the previous page. so that's $35 in your pocket. post up or PM me if you are willing/able to do this. once the "volunteer" is selected ED will be told to ship it to this person ASAP since we will all be waiting for test fitment results and they'll be waiting to get paid.

i appreciate everyone's patience and contributions to making this happen. lets keep our fingers crossed that this is finally done and we all get what we've been waiting for! once we determine that we are good to go, i promise you that i will make it my TOP priority to get the orders processed and shipped out to you guys.

So we pay you the balance i assume?? Please contact me as there will be additional shippng charges due to me being in Canada!!! God i hope ED does not ship UPS they rape us up here..

I appreciate your concern

I was supposed to get the only CF one......Damn you! It will look great on your car tho! Im hoping with the white paint it will look good on mine. Who knows when it will be on my car so post pics when you get it on :)

Also still waiting on an answer!
