ok guys, im going to make it $75 flat rate shipping within the continental 48. some may pay a few extra, some will pay a few less. but this streamlines things for everyone and cuts down on time wasted on individual shipping quotes. ill be paying Pete $79 for each one, regardless, so im eating the $4 out of my end for each of you to help you guys out and to help pete out. Pete tells me that ED recently raised the $15 handling fee to $20 but he's covering the extra $5 for CEGers! so i figured id do the same on the shipping part :) you guys are paying enough already. hopefully that will help some...

and NO mattyK, local pick-ups do not get the $4 off

for those that have already paid the $79 shipping fee, ill be refunding you the $4 as well.

shipping to Canada is $232 and will be Fedex. that includes tax, license, tariffs, pay-offs etc...

if thats too much for your blood, i can do a fellow CEGer a favor and ship it out personally via USPS to help cut down on the costs. there's still the $15 handling fee (box, packaging, etc...). i have to personally inspect it when i pick it up in person at ED (no problem) so it will be 100% at that point. ill ship it with insurance but insurance with the PO is kind of a joke... but i ship with them a LOT and ive only had an issue ONCE and that was due to my own packaging. otherwise everything else has always shown up just fine and quickly. you wont have the same guaranty as having it shipped directly from Fedex but i really dont think you'd have anything to worry about and you'd save some good coin. in fact, ive had waay more issues from fedex than usps :help: at the moment, i dont know how much the shipping would be since i dont have a boxed up splitter here to get a price quote on but im sure it would come out to less than what you'd end up paying fedex. PM me if you'd like to go with this option. this is for foreign shipments only.

My understanding is that we don’t need to send our final payment until the guys who are going to try it on first say it’s OK to buy. Am I reading the post all right?

there are some pictures of the first batch that were produced that weren't exactly up to par with what we wanted, but its basically WHAT they will look like.

csvt#49 will be posting up pics of his installed on the car when he receives them.

Has anyone recieved one of the new splitters yet? Any word on their condition or any pics? Honestly I'm not really worried about them not fitting or anything (seeing as the blem batch wasn't terrible and these are supposed to be better), I just want to figure out how long it will be before we can start getting these shipped.

csvt#49's JUST shipped out yesterday. it should be in his hands in a few days. ED has been playing catch up with getting stuff shipped out this week. plus, with sema a few weeks away, im willing to be they have their hands full.

ooklah will be picking his up in person this week as well and putting it on and posting pics/review. so we should have two guys giving their own personal opinions and what not. so we should know within the next week or two. we're ALMOST THERE guys! :D and at least the splitters are all HERE in the US now. no shipping/customs delays or excuses or anything. as long as the fitment is acceptable we'll be good to go. and we can't expect utter perfection here everyone, so brace yourself. these were made on the other side of the planet (directly beneath us lol) using a bumper that we sent them, OFF the car. but as long as they cleaned up the design a little bit and they're better fitting than the original mirkos, i think we'll be ok. the ONLY parts that ever perfect are stock oem parts. i was just on the phone with a guy yesterday who said his super snake hood was having fitment issues. and that's a part from shelby! lol.

as you guys know, pete and i ONLY want to deliver to you the best possible product we can. let's just keep our fingers crossed and pray to whatever god you currently believe in this week. and if you don't, you better start!!

Besides Fitment I am still awaiting to see if the Carbon splitters have been made. Do they just use the same mold or make a new one? I know its only two people but we should be included as our money is in your hands.

Awesome! I'm not even sweating the fitment; even if they're a little bit off, these are Duraflex; that means more flexible than the older fiberglass style. We can make them fit with a little bit of 3M tape, bondo, mounting screws, or whatever. CEG members are pretty ingenious with this type of thing. Can't WAIT for pics! :p Kudos to Steveand everyone else involved for pulling this all together, I think everyone will be happy with the outcome.

The carbon one's have been delayed unfortunately. It is not because of waiting to check final fitment (which would be ideal anyway) but they had some problems with their carbon supplier and had to throw away $20K in carbon parts (thats their cost) retail you're probably talking $75-80K. However with that being said, if these fit pretty good then that works out great, because it needs to fit really well for the carbon pieces to work. As you know there will be no flex in those, well there will be but not much. I haven't forgot about the carbon guy's trust me, lol im stressing out on this stuff.

Sorry guys, i meant to have pictures up by now but i had to go out and pick my brother's kids up from school.

I have my splitter so i just gotta hope there is enough light out to mount it and take pics when i get home.

Bummer....keep us posted on the status of the CF ones please

I was expecting more from the fitment stand point, considering how long we waited. At first I would have been happy with a original, but with passing opportunities on a original because I have money in the GB, I want a little more. Im sorry if this is surprising to some.

My plan was to have mine removable as some others do/plan. I can't be using loads of 3m tape and screws to make it work.
