I'm updating this first post with the details of what we've decided.
All are welcome, of course.

Harpoon Brewery tour at 3:00ish http://www.harpoonbrewery.com $5 per person
Dinner following the tour at http://www.barkingcrab.com/
Funtime at 5W!ts following dinner http://www.5-wits.com $20 per person

Us folks from the north will probably park near the Oak Grove T station and go from there.

Interested. Depends on date. I skated outdoors for the first time in nearly 15 years last weekend, would love to do it again.

Don't focus so much on the ice skating.
Like I said, it's more hassle than it's worth (always crowded, costs a lot to skate, pain to carry around your own skates all day, etc).

Throw your own suggestions out there.
Any tours you'd like to do? Fenway? Sam Adams?
I've done them before, but wouldn't mind doing them again.

I'm looking for more day filler than just dinner. Eating oysters on the half shell can't be the only thing we do (although damn am I craving them).

yeah I couldn't find anything else either.

I think Rock Bottom brews on site, but I don't think they necessarily do tours per se.

Another I was trying to look into was Cambridge Brewing Co (also a restaurant), but was unable to determine if they give tours.
Funny thing about that one, they're hosting a Oysters and Beer event on March 3rd. (too bad it's a Wednesday).

Ok... after looking at UOH prices, it might be a bit much. I'd like to throw out The Barking Crab as an alternative. It'd be a little bit of a T ride (half the fun of being in Boston), and the food is GOOD. I've eaten there a few times, and have enjoyed it every time.

It satisfies the seafood cravings, and is a unique experience.

sounds good to me.

I'm thinking Feb 27th at this point.

little harpoony, little 5w!tty, little crabby eaty. sounds like a good day to me.

I can get a non-stop flight into logan from $148...why can't you do this other than Feb????? bah!

my entire feb is booked...march isn't looking so great either. between super bowl, mardi gras, & a friend's b-day...my feb is history.

I would love a day in Boston too...seafood & all.
