hows that blue look compared to the interior of our cars? It doesnt look black enough to be our blue :D

how are the batt tie downs comin?

The MB powder I have is pretty dark but pushing more blue than black.

I made a blood red and a chrome 1902. I will post the chrome one in a little bit because that is all I have a pic of right now.

Oh valve covers would be nice to do in copper . Smooth it out really well. Deep grinding marks will show through powder coat so be careful.

Why don't you pickup a front valve cover from a '95 contour? They don't have the extra locations for a IMRC to mount...... see

because i already have an extra timing cover and set of valve covers. what grit sand paper to you recommend sanding to?

Nothing rougher than a OEM surface. I don't know, I don't sand any of my parts, just blast and coat.

If you are talking about the whole cover just sandblasting to remove the coating. If you are talking where you remove the tab then you will want to go to 80 grit if using a primer, 120 grit if not primering.

Hope this helps.

Woops, forgot to post that pic. The red bar looks better IMO but no pic of that yet.

Chrome caliper, black chrome brackets, and chrome bolt heads. It's hard to tell the color difference because the brackets just have too many bends and it's a small palate to really see the difference. Turned out excelent though.

Hey Joe, You powdercoated my Baer Brake Brackets a Candy T-Red! As you stated due to the quick and extreme heat to cooling, The Powdercoat is chipping off. I dont care as I expected it! I wanted to know if you can re-powdercoat the bracket, This time another color?
