What did you do to your Contour today?

Replaced my a/c receiver dryer, orifice tube, condenser and a few orings on Thursday. Vaccuumed it down and threw in the freon and oil and now I have a nice and frosty a/c system :)
 
Installed BAT struts, springs, PRT sway bar end links and painted calipers on the rear. Installing BAT struts, springs, Massive front end links and painting calipers this weekend.
 
This last weekend, I finally got around to clear coating my front grill ring and new (to me) eye lids. I painted them a little while back. I mixed up some 2 part clear and shot it through my airbrush. They look silky smooth! :)
Now wait for this weather to pass and I'll install them!

Check the spark plugs on the SVT this morning .... Yup they are original. Should replace them but for now I regapped them. I'm sure it has been covered way in the past but the plugs where only single platinum not double.
 
in response to beans' electrical gremlins ive rewired the fuse box on a e0 before. reminds me of what i went thru.

i started repairing an old carbon fiber trunk. lots of filling, sanding repeat.
 
Finally made some progress on the SVT interior swap. Got everything swapped out except the dash. Hoping to have a friend over to help finish that this weekend. Pics to come...
 
FINALLY!!! I got the blue one running after way too long... video clip is without the exhaust on.



I now have the exhaust on, as well as the passenger axle and full drivers suspension. All i need to finish it off is a shifter, shift cable bushing (have my own DIY remedy) passenger hub/spindle. oh...and a job to pay for all of that!


And I also cut the stock shifter down in the green one a little bit more...

Today I shopped for 2001 Cougar Heads.

Found a few options, PnP near me has two 2001's on the lot, with the heads, $60 a head to pull myself.

Ebay shop has a set, $250 + shipping for the set, but they'll pull em.

The question now is, how much is my time worth?

I also started on the mirror polish on my Intake Manifolds.
