The "official" 2011 Fall Dragon Run thread...Oct 6th-9th

Yeah, but my dad is coming with me.

Not sure if it will make up for it or not. We'll see.
 
Randy, keep the S2000, the 350-Zed is a nice car sure enough, but mass is mass and its got alot of it compared to the S2000. I know Billy kicked ass in his but I'm sure he's say keep the S2000......right?

Yeah it sucks about Hectour Sr not making it out this year but he's got other plans that he can't miss out on and I just hope we make it out there w/o his firewood skills, I thought we'd be able to start a new show with what he could do out there, let's see what Dillon's Dad can do.

BTW, I was check out the Fit site and there's still 3 cabins available, can't believe it, so if anyone is looking for their own place because that's how they roll, no problem and if you wanna room up with someone who's got room like Randy and Billy, again, no problem, we've got all the bases covered for sure.

....and now in other news, I know of a "surprise" coming along on the run this year and have sworn to secrecy but all I can say is it will be a Fall Dragon run 1st and its a world exclusive car, only one like it in the world and that's all I'm going to say! Not saying who's it is, where's it coming from, nothing.....now come the guess':laugh:

ITS ONLY 26 MORE DAYS OR 4 WEEKS AWAY, ACTUALLY LESS THAN THAT!
 
I'm glad that the Miata is going to make the run and yeah, get him in the GA for sure, the best way to experience it as you know is with that round thing infront of you!

Hector's dad is like a Mexican MacGyver. Unless your dad is ninja with survival skills or your hometown's version of Chuck Norris and Bear Grylls mashed together, he doesn't stand a chance.......sorry
 
i didn't trade the s2000. the guy didnt offer more cash. i would have done it if it was a good money making opportunity.

in other news, i started polishing my 16" stock s2000 wheels. After 3 hours and minimal progress i have decided to powdercoat them instead. any suggestions for colors? i am leaning towards a mag blue or dark almost black purple.
 
Yeah, my dads just gonna be a lazy ass "along for the ride" and drink a bunch of beer.

Well guys its Kirk Gibson number of days to go and its really getting close, I can feel it! Remember, there's 3 more cabins as of the other day too. At this late date, is anyone working on anything besides Dillon?

I should have a t shirt sketch in the next couple of day, and i nearly have my car ready. I flushed the coolant, trans fluid, diff fluid, topped off the brake fluid. Only thing left is to finish cleaning the air filter, an oil change, detail and to make up my mind on which wheels to bring.
 
Randy, I say bring the wheels that have the best rubber on them, depth first and then compound. Maybe both of them are the same:shrug:....if so, go with the softer rubber ofcoarse!

Since Derek hasn't come in here yet I might as well let you guys know that he can't make it this year due to his job, they're mandating OT and unless you've got money invested in your vacation, you have to cancel and work, good ol' government:rolleyes: He's not very happy about it but like he said, what can you do:shrug:

Its 22 Arcacia Avenue number of days to go, almost 3 weeks!!!
