I updated the list and put my dad and tyler on it.
I didn't get SS lines. 1 i don't feel like bleeding the brakes, and 2 if i get lines, i'll get new calipers. I can't afford all of that right now.

Well if your putting new rotors and pads on, why not bleed the brakes anyways? A bottle of good ATE brake fluid is what......piece of mind, don't you guys agree? Think about like this Dillon, do you know how old that fluid is?........you will when you bleed it out and replace it though. The fluid is working overtime out there, you know that! I understand not being able to drop the $100 on the SS lines for sure, especially after you just bought the 4 new rotors and pads but atleast bleed out the old stuff and put in the good stuff. BTW, what pads did you end up going with again?
Well, we're just about out of another decade and this last year is HUGE:
-On Sept 18th, 1970 James Marshall Hendrix dies at the age of 27, joining Janis Joplin who also died at the age of 27 a couple monthes earlier.
-The PEAK of the muscle car generation, well, of "that" generation anyways:
*Buick GS..."rated" at 370 hp and 510 ft/lbs of torque at 2800 rpm, the highest of any mass produced muscle car
*SS454 Chevelle (LS-6) "rated" at 450 hp and 500 ft/lbs of torque at 3200 rpm
*Both Olds and Pontiac offer 455's "rated" around 360-370 hp and had torque ratings at or above the 500 ft/lb mark
-The small block Chevy was enlarged to 400 cubes but sadly never offered in a "perf" application (that's ok, we knew what to do with it!)
-AMC comes out with the largest s/b engine, the 401
-Ford ends production of the 429 Hemi in the Mustang after only 2 years of production....CHA-CHING!
-As the decade in brought in, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Cox and Buddy Miles play the Filmore in NY which is recorded and released under the name "Band of Gypsy's" an IMO the greatest recorded album in the history of mankind!
-The most important heavy metal album is recorded for 900 lbs in less than 2 days total by Ozzy Osbourne, Toni Iommi, "Geezer" Butler and Bill Ward and they change their name from Earth to BLACK SABBATH and release the self titled album and start the whole metal scene, period!
-Led Zeppelin releases Led Zeppelin III and go a completely different direction from their first two releases but amongst the songs is "Since I've been loving you" my personal Zep favorite
-First year for the 454 BB in the Corvette
-Last year for GM engines running on "regular" gas...no more Led, urr, lead:troutslap:
-Last and certainly least, yours truely was born on Wed, February 4th @6:06 p.m. in Detroit city.
All these events happened in 1970, 70 more days to go and soon we'll be in "peace and love" generation, get out the bell bottoms and tie dye....oh wait, that came around again already:shrug:
