My friend's STi is no longer going. He just got into a wreck and his car is toast. He's ok though.

Glad to hear he's ok, the car can be replaced, people can never be!

Kinda bummed I won't be able to wax my car before the dragon. I can't wax it for 30 days after the fresh paintjob. Hope I can put painters tape on it to protect it from scary stuff flying at it.

Sorry your not bringing your car Bonnie, God knows we could use a couple more CSVT's out there to keep the flag flying, but it will be good to see you again, I think I've only met you once and that was some time ago! I will say this though, once you get out there and see what its like, your going to wish you did bring it or get it ready for next year

Don't be sorry, I much rather prefer riding with someone because I get to see more.... and I don't have to worry about wrecking another green csvt! lol I gotta keep her in shape anyways, because there's someone that wants to buy it eventually!!

just letting everyone know that i'm still planning on attending and might have a couple vehicles coming with me (AE86 corolla, toyota soarer, and a bmw). I still need to find out for sure if all of them are coming before i get the rooming straightened out. I still need to get my axles replace, tires, front brakes, brake fluid flush, and replace my exhaust manifold gasket, but all should be taken care of here soon.

Just read over in xceedspeed that a guy from Miami is coming and he's got a nice list of cars, so I'm waiting find out what he and his group are bringing. It appears to be a seperate run made up by him and they're going to Tellico Plains from Sept 30th to Oct 4th, hmmm

I have all of the parts except for tires and waiting on new axles. I figure it will take about 2 days for me to do everything but axles. I think the bmw is a 328 which has been modded but i'm not sure to what extent. the toyota soarer is a 90s model car from japan. It has a 1JZ engine i believe, i'm not good with those engine numbers i just know its an inline 6 with twin turbo right hand drive. It is one of 5 in the US. If he doesn't bring that he would bring his home built datsun truck. It has a nissan 240 S13 frame reinforced with a nice turbocharged engine and right hand drive. We might be staying in 2 cabins, but i'm waiting on definite answers before we reserve. Should know something here soon.
