The 6th annual Fall Dragon Run thread!

If there is still a really bad gas shortage in Tennessee...I might reconsider. You guys driving from Florida could have a helluva time because of this issue. Georgia is still dealing with supply issues. :blackeye:
eh I havent had any real problems around here. I have to keep my tank above half too lol

I was just thinking about this tonight. I think it's going to be more of a problem for Randy than me, but maybe the CTS V will surprise me. I should only have to stop once on the way up.

I guess the 8th gen Civic group was just there about 2 weeks ago. I've sent a few PMs to see if gas supply was an issue. I didn't see it mentioned in their Dragon thread, so I'm optimistic.

there are some areas around here where there are dwindling supplies but it isnt horrible. all the stations have gas in my town and at my exit off of 75. I'll ask some guys tomorrow that live in maryville and come by the road if the station at the end of the dragon has any supply issues. I will find us some gas guys dont worry lol.

Thanks for all of your work on the loop for Friday Trey:cool: I'm thinking we could meet up in the parking lot of that supermarket across from the Hardee's on 68, what do you guys think about 11:00 a.m. on Friday, right after breakfast. A new road with new turns, should be a good one!

I'm really ready for this trip after my recent trip for work, check it out:

-Leave the metro Detroit area 11:00 p.m. on Friday night and drive straight through to New Jersey, get into a brand new Yaris S at 1:00 p.m. and head towards Colorado. I stop outside of Cleveland, get up Sunday morning and drive straight through to York Nebraska. I then get up Monday morning and drive to my destination, about 15 miles outside of Denver where I jump into an 08' 300C w/150K on the clock (test vehicle for Roush Ind) and just got back home yesterday around 8:00 p.m. The total for trip is around 3400 miles and get this, I'm going to Chicago this weekend, but that's only a 4.5 hour drive, no sweat:laugh:

IGOR LARINOV NUMBER OF DAYS TO GO!

I thought of something we nice we could do for Dixie

I thought of something we nice we could do for Dixie

With her Mom passing away recently and not having enough time to get the flowers down there I thought we could chip in on Saturday night when we're at the Tellica Cafe having our traditional dinner. Since there's so many of us this year its not going to cost us that much, maybe $3-5.00 a head and we can just get her a nice gift card from the restaraunt. It was very nice of her to hook us up a discount with everything else on her mind and besides that, she's a nice lady and has always taken good care of us when we've been down there. What do you guys think:shrug:

Gas question...price?

Gas question...price?

Premium up here is around $3.60, what are you guys payin'

BTW, while I was in N.J., premium was $3.40 and in parts of Iowa as well, WTF:rolleyes:

Hell yeah! Its pissing me off too. Me & My wife both drive SVT's & there has been absolutely no premium for going on 3 weeks now(in my area). I have to fill up atleast once a week so Im on my 3rd tank of regular. I haven't had as much as a CEL pop on though.

OB1, you car is actually set up to run on less then 91, so you should be ok. Its going to say that if you don't run premium your not going to get the performance "your accustom to". Because you don't have a turbo and/or supercharger, well, that's a good thing.

ONE WEEK TO GO, THERE'S LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!

Still major supply issues here. I paid $4.10/gal for 93 earlier this week. Most stations are plum out or only stocking 87. We're still hurtin pretty bad around here. Hopefully further up 75 it isn't so bad. :(

Hey Eric. Hectour just told me that his tires have good rubber on them still, I can't wait to see your cars with the wheels swapped out:cool:

One week from right now, 6:08 p.m. EST, I will be chillin' in Vols country!

Would it be lame of me to roll around with painters tape on the front? I'm considering taping off the front bumper and hood. . .

That isn't bad.....I paid $4.15 yesterday.:blackeye:

Its around $3.59/$3.69 here, but its going down every other day, hope it keeps up this way.

Its almost time to start counting the hours, but in the meantime...6 DAYS TO GO, CHECK YOUR TIRES, CHECK YOUR OIL AND CHECK YOUR NERVES!
