HMMM maybe you missed where he said this.

I know of a local SVT owner that schools Cobras and all other types of vehicles on the race track with his CSVT. We aren't saying it's the be all end all of vehicles, but guess what there is more to driving then going in a straight line! The CSVT I would say is a much better balanced vehicle than a Mustang. As I said before Tourige has a very nice looking cobra and that and CSVT are two completly different cars.

Oh and FYI I guess Mustang owners don't think their cars are the best cars on the planet right? Go look at how many owner bash other types vehicles on Mustang Boards. If you can't appreciate all types of vehicles wether they be JDM, European etc then you aren't a real car enthusiest.

Wasn't directed at you, just ryanblacksvt. I agree with you, the cars are two very different vehicles, and the contour is definatlyset up more for the aut0-x. However, throw a little money into suspension(less then 1k) and some tires and the cobras/msutangs do splendid on road courses.

I know mustangs aren't the best cars on the planet, my family has a 06 Z51 vette, and that blows any mustang out of the water . For every great car there will always be something better, it's about being happy with what you have and not slamming other people cars who are different from your own.(once again, not directed at you)

Actually, I used to own a csvt before I moved on to bigger and better things.....ones that aren't always broken and that actually have mod potential without having to spend boatloads of money and even more time dicking around installing the stupid parts. u know, its really sad when u look at a thread that has more than 30 posts, and automatically assume some crap has gone down. thats exactly what i thought b4 i opened this 50+ post thread. we've gatta work on learning to disagree in a civil manner. in my first post i made it clear that i didnt like that gen mustang. however, his paint and performance add-ons were good. the sad part about this whole thing is that when i looked back to see what caused the dispute, i found nuthn:shrug:

His constant negativity towards Contours is what brings it on. He consistently bashes Contours, and thinks Mustangs are the be-all and end-all of performance.

Right on dude, I'll be in Calgary in March as my company does all the Autoshows . I will send you and Tourige a PM as the time approches. I will most likely be staying out there for a few days extra since one of my good friends lives out there as well. Someone will have to pick me up as my car will be back in Ontario obviously haha. I hope weather is like it was for the 08 Autoshow, that week I was there it was like 25 out so people had their Ferrari's and Porshes out and you could wear t-shirts.

World or wheels, or the international autoshow? They fall into almost the exact same time frame each year. EIther way, I was at both last year, my company did all of the detailing for Davenport Motorsports cars, as well as a few other there. One being the Main Range Rover that they had on their stand, the black Westminster.
