Name that engine

Is this a "one-off" or regular production? The fabbed sheetmetal intake and high mounted AC compressor scream aftermarket kit at least.

regular production engine...

What you see on it is a factory prototype performance experiment, but the engine should be easily recognizable especially the plenums in the front. The v-shaped intake on top is fabbed as well as the piece to the top left of the pic, not AC.

Jigga watt?????? No, that is an AC compressor I'm talking about mounted up high, you're referring to the non-production intercooler in the top left. I really should have figured it out much sooner, I feel like such a McFly, but I'm not going to say what it is becuase I don't have another one to post . . . so someone else can guess it. :D

and that was the plan...unfortunately the company's demise came before the plan was carried out. Probably would've helped from the get-go.

Cool I'll post up a pic after work, right now I don't have the time to do it, that'll also give me some thinkin so I can stump all of you. At least try anyways.
A DeLorean first came to mind when I seen it, that's why I asked in my first post about it if it was rear engine. BTW I'm a DeLorean fan.
Also I knew that V on top couldn't of been factory that's what almost threw me off, nice one PP.

LOL, we already did almost that exact engine. Granted it was from a earlier Jag chassis, but the engine was almost identical.
