Ive seen lots of people use dzus fasteners. I'm going to use those as well as my lip support rod

ive seen people have used Dzus with their mirkos before. anyone know what size is needed? are they easy to install?

Im still thinking about how to mount this one. I already have the holes in my bumper for the Dzus fasteners, but with the wrap around Im not sure I want to secure it on the side. Plus, I would rather not drill a big hole in each side of my CF splitter.

I might end up securing it from the wrap around with screws or a bolt and nut or something, since I already have the rods up front.

Im going to seal up the holes I made, and then add to my mirko splitter a wrap around. So when I switch between the two the rears will have a nut and bolt or dzus fasteners.

ED says the CF ones will be ready on monday so im planning to head over there on monday at this point. hopefully ill be able to get it shipped out the same day and in imnotacop's hands on tuesday.

ive already informed pete about it. he's supposed to talk to ED about it. theyre a VERY "by the book" kind of company. when ive stopped by everything is wait here, sign this, etc...

guys, as you send in your final payments and notices of what the shipping address will be, if different than what PP has on file, please be SURE to provide a phone number as well. ED requires this for shipping purposes in case they or fedex needs to contact you. it wont be shipped out until they have the number.
also, as stated on page 1 of the GB, please be sure to add 3% to cover the PP fees. being a GB, the price is already being discounted, and then we shaved another $50 off, and even cut down the shipping prices a little too. so please dont forget to add that in. people buying outside of the GB's discounted pricing, do not need to add for this.

ive also cleared up some room in my inbox. i have been doing quick replies to people's PMs and i didnt realize that it was automatically saving MY replies in the sent folder. so i went and deleted a bunch of those as well.
and fyi, if you are using your cell phone to reply to PMs, many times it does not keep track of the prior conversation. people will reply back with "so how much then?" and that's it lol. i have NO idea what theyre talking about because i had to delete the prior PMs to make some room. and ive got 20 people PMing me so i cant keep track of who's saying what without scanning through the prior conversation. just a little fyi...
too bad this forum doesnt use tapatalk. it works pretty good for phone surfing.

Will the duraflex handle the elements, or does it require painting?
I've had the duraflex diffuser on my Z06 for almost 2 years now unpainted and it look's like the day we installed it. I also have other customers on the Vette forum with duraflex lips on their Vettes with no issues.
