yeah there are and two members posted their own threads with pics of these new ones "installed". maybe someone has the page saved and can post it up. or the two members who authored the threads can post up the links to their own threads.

sorry, i just saw that and made some more space. had about 10 PMs waiting for me. the shipping is $75 plus $15 handling fee. basically, the $15 handling fee is for the box and packaging it comes in. the only way around that is to pick it up in person. so you're really looking at $90 for shipping. that's to anywhere in the lower 48 states. so $250 plus $90, or $340 out the door. these are ready to go.

Thanks for the review Mike! Glad to see somebody else is as picky as me. I see other things that would bother me...but after hitting the first squirrel that run across in front of me....I would get over it. I already hit two racoons in my csvt since I got it in October!! Grrr. One happened two weeks after repainting my front bumper cover! WTF...my luck sucks.

I am in for one of these Duraflex ones though if I aint too late (we shall see)...as my fiberglass Mirko was extensively banged up and taking more time to fix than I thought....extending the ends to match the contour (lol...no pun intended there) of the bumper cover and making hidden studs. And I never liked the fact it didnt wrap around from day one...almost thought about molding it to the cover and adding the wrap arounds....but I hit to many racoons for that. lol

Good write up and info here. Looking forward to the new batch!

I would be interested in purchasing one from the blem batch..i tried to PM you but your inbox is full again..need some info on how to process payment and shipping time line..
 
guys, pete texted me and said the splitters are IN and ready to ship out. im going to work on this later tonight.

if these ship out asap, you should be able to get yours in time for SZ. i plan to go to ED this week to pick up my own and put in on my csvt for an open track day next weekend. i could pick up some splitters and ship them overnight if anyone wants. i have a decent hook up on overnight shipping through my friends fedex account. probably only a few bucks more. the less time on a truck, the less chance of getting mangled too lol.

btw, we only have the 15 splitters we needed for the minimum. i had thought we had ordered 20 but i guess not. so we may not have any extras. 2 were for me but i may let one go.
 
I'm confused on your post lol Does that mean you still have the extra blem batches and I am still receiving one? (As is the fixed ones, there are only 15, not 20 like you thought)
 
We still have plenty of the blemished ones available. We only have 15 duraflex lips however that came in not 20 like Steve thought.
 
Are the Carbon ones in yetor are we waiting till next week? As originally planned. Can you please let us know how much we owe again. I think I paid half the price and now I have to bay the other half + shipping.

Also I thought you were going to let ED ship these so we avoid problems and they would take responsibility for damages. Just watching out for the community including yourself Steve.

Thanks Pete and Steve for the updates as well. Thanks for your effort as it paid off and we have a new and improved product. I am just wondering about how these fit? Are we going to send one out once again for test fitting and a review? We dont want them making more blem batches. These need to fit properly. Especially the Carbon as they wont be repairable.

i was just offering to overnight them if people want to get them ASAP. the option for ED to still ship them is still there of course.

pete told me the CF ones are coming next week.

i plan to go there on friday to pick up mine. i will test fit it on my csvt and post up with pics. if they brought the wrap around part in like we asked, then i think we will have to settle with that. ill ask pete if you receive the CF one and you dont like it, if they can just refund you your $ as im sure they wont want to try to redo the mold again. at some point it will become a waste of time/money for them to keep redoing it over and over again.

for the duraflex models, if you prefer to see how they fit this time thats cool. if its decided that this is THE final version and you're still not satisfied than i have a list of people whom im SURE would love to jump at the chance to take your splitter and you can just get your deposit back. i only have 15 of these right now and all 15 are spoken for already. if you say "F it. send it NOW!" than go ahead and send in your balance payments, less the $50 we will be discounting them for the original GB members, DF and CF.

if you're dying to get it painted/installed in time for SZ, i can have it overnighted via fedex for $150. you're already paying almost $100 anyways, and that will take up to a week. for a few bucks more, i can get it to you by MONDAY (possibly even Sat). im going to use their packaging/boxes and have fragile stickers put on them. since theyre overnight, there is way less chance of them being damaged since they'll only be on a truck for a few hours. when they go ground, they go from truck to truck to truck and all the hubs in between/conveyor belts/etc... and if its damaged, i will cover it. this is just an available option for those that would reallllly like to have it installed/painted in time for SZ. you'll definitely have way more time to do all this. just an option.

everyone paid a 50% deposit on their orders so that leaves a 50% balance due (less $50). plus shipping costs/PP fees as clearly outlined on page 1. if you have any questions, feel free to post up, PM me, email me (svt4stv@gmail.com) or even call me 818-357-2531. as soon as balance payments start coming in, they'll start shipping out. leave a few days for ED to process them though, so likely early next week.
