correct and thanks for the congrats! i cant WAIT to move in! huge/looong driveway with a detached garage in the back. all gated in and guarded by some big dogs! the turbo tour is still down. somebody went and welded then entire exhuast system in. great for leaks, no great for removing the engine lol. we'll be in the process of moving over the next couple of weekends (when i actually have time to work on the car) and there's also the HUGE ford show coming up next weekend. so it may be a few more weeks before we get started on the turbo tour again.

Did they finally receive all of the parts and begun working on the new mold? Curious to see if they have been able to resolve the fitment issues associated with the original Mirko...
 
Hey guy's, I meant to give you an update a few day's ago but forgot and when I came to try and do it the board was down. Everything got delayed a bit because the bumper that Steve provided (that we shipped over there) got held up in customs. It occasionally happens and just so happens that it did. I was told they have already started them, but they didn't say to what extent. I know they got behind on a bunch of projects and are trying to catch up. Lol, trust me I know you guy's have been really patient so far and I know I appreciate it, since technically you guy's are my customers as well. Here is an example of the work they do though. This is a Corvette C6 hood im having made (been a long process as well)

Nothing really. I ask just about weekly though trust me. I havent forgot about you guy's. I usually talk to them 2-3 times a week about my Vette projects and I always ask for the Contour lips. They just tell me they are working on it, but that's it. I'll see if I can get more info from the owner of the company.
 
i've been so patient!! my lower section of my bumper is cracked from ripping off my last mirko!! Let's get all our broken mirko's and build a boat and check out the progress!!
 
We are dealing with some chinese company.... Where they make phones and computers but dont use them. Communication usually sucks. This is going to be a long and annoying process. We can just hope for the best and hope NOT to get ripped off.

It took a YEAR for my friend to get his custom CF widebody diffuser. Yes I said a YEAR...

Can we put the kibosh on "ripped off" right now? This is being done through a reputable company with lots of satisfied Vette customers (which is almost an oxymoron). Yes it's going to take a while, but I'm glad anyone was willing to take on this project for an unpopular 10 year old economy* car.


*and I say that with love.
 
Im not worried about getting 'ripped off' I have purchased things from Steve in the past, Im sure things will work out just fine. An occasional update would be nice though.
 
I don't disagree - just trying to avoid the snowballing "pitchforks and torches" mob that usually arise from these things.
 
Yeah well Steve hasn't logged onto CEG since May 20th. I mean, if you have TWO group buys going on, at least give an update once in a while. People paid money a very long time ago and are now just sitting here twiddling their thumbs. It definitely is rude. I know he is a reputable seller on CEG, but he should be giving updates. IMO, it's inexcusable to have this long of an absence in a GB...
 
Hey guy's. I cant speak for Steve, but im sure he is busy. I spoke to ED last week, sorry I havent kept you guys posted (Im extremely busy as well) You guy's are not getting ripped off, trust me. You have to remember Steve has money in this as well as he paid for the new mold.

From what I was told and I did get a bit upset about was they are making a lip out of the old mold or may have just done it so they can ship the mold and lip back to us (to Steve) I was told the mold should have been back already. I am going to e-mail the owner over at ED and try to see what's going on. This is taking WAY longer than it should be. I will see hwat the owner can tell me, and see if he can get them to move a bit faster.
