Fall Meet October 10, 2009 *updated 1st post 10/9*

light stuff has a better chance of clearing, you can keep the bra on and it doesn't totally soak the engine bay and the roads tend to be more dryer. full on hard pouring rain more of a mess all around and yes I'm that bad, sorry :help:

do you refuse to drive at night too?

just messin with ya

i really hope i can make this. Only thing that sorta sucks is its gonna take me 2 hours to get to the castle, and then 3 hours to get home from the dinner. I will keep the OP posted though and let you know as soon as I know, end of this week.

lol nice try, wannabe ;)

Cathedral Ledge (wet) pics I snapped today.
Sorry for the crap quality, but this should still be a decent teaser for you all.

This is one reason why the Fall Meet only happens once a year. This meet is an important tradition for this group for 8 years now.
It's worth the long day. It's a good way to fall in love with driving your car over and over again.

yeah i was thinking of skipping dinner too, but if I do the cruise, thats 2hrs of driving followed immediately by 3 to get home, or 4 in your case.

There's always the option of leaving right after CITC to head home. You'll hit plenty of scenery and great views during the first part of the day to feel fulfilled.

The distance is one of the reasons why we don't do NH too often, but Mike has been busting at the seams to show everyone these roads for a couple years now.

I haven't been there in forever and I'm simply jazzed at the notion of going. I totally can't wait to kick the ass out on some wet leaves and wrap the car around a tree.

The annual Fall Meet was my first meet, Wachusett Mtn 2002. There's always something different and interesting, an event or place held in high regard by the meet host. Caravaning along tree-laden country roads on a crisp autumn afternoon is enjoyable at any speed, and of course scenic photo opportunities always exist.

What I mean to say is: every location has been well worth the drive, whether it's way up in Burlington VT (2007), as far south as Essex CT (2006), west as the Quabbin (2005) or east as Halifax MA (2008).

The view at CINC looks spectacular.

does it matter? I dont even know you, but i have a pretty strong feeling if i went, i wouldnt see you there
Well played, sir. Well played.

Exciting! Good thing my car's only going to Mass:laugh:

Plus, I'm not so sure how exciting it would be on Blizzaks anyway...

I plan on getting staying for the whole event and getting home around 11p.m. or later if needed. I don't want to disappoint Mike or even myself by missing something . The 'tour needs another good long day anyway.

I, too, am looking forward to this. New Hampshire is such a beautiful state. I am sure that the roads and the foliage will be scintillating. There is something magnificent about the Mount Washington Valley any time of year.

Will I get to see the new vessel if I make it?

Piss, moan, piss, moan, (w)itch, (w)itch, (w)itch! It's a strong possibility I'm driving back to Amherst to pick someone up for 9:30, dropping wannabe off at my house so he can get his car, and then going to a party in Enfield, THEN going back to UMass to spend the evening. Man up!
