the thing I hate is the rust ridge on the back side of the drum that will not come past the shoeToo true. :laugh:
The one thing I hate about drum shoes is having to hammer that pin into the bottom of the back shoe.
still I would rather hammer in the pinThat doesn't bother me too much because I just go around the back side and spin the little wheel to collapse the shoes in more.

so did mine (scary) till I put on Granada front disc (not so scary)nope. if it was done right it shouldn't make any noise at all imho
fathers 66 mustang has 4 wheel drum brakes. we had existing drums turned and used re-lined shoes. put it all together and there isn't one noise from the brakes ....
