3l Contour Registry

New guy for the list.... I got a 1998 CSVT in TRed with 154,000 w/ 2005 Taurus full 3L swap with 44k. Build number is 5914

Car needed fuel pump, oxygen sensor, and everything else seems to be good. A CEL just came on for p0402 EGR fault :blackeye: after over 500 miles on the build.

-98 / 112,000 (burned 2 gallons of oil per tank of fuel ... low oil levels led to rod noise. Stripped a plug as well.)

Swap went well for a first timer. Made some silly mistakes, but rectified them quickly. Car runs very strong with no tune.

Replaced during 3L swap: Lower ball joints, brakes / rotors, tie rod end, springs (stock), Shifter cable ends, Thermostat, Clutch (stock), wires, other misc small items.

Bought csvt #322 totalled and swaped the 3L into my car. Motor was built by blackcoog. Going to dyno this week will post hp later.
