2012 Fall Dragon Run thread-10th anniversary! (10-11/10-14-12)

Jesus, red seats in a BRG Lotus. Someone should do that car a favor and go set it on fire.

Seems like a perfect excuse to put those Exige seats in it.

Well Josh, if the guy in Michigan buys the Daytona, just head up I-75 to Auto Europe and pick up one of those Elise's ( I suggest the series I)

I want one of these, but I don't know much about the series I cars other than the Rover motors. There's also no hard top, right?

Its just the seats and door panels Josh, you can't live with that? Its very British to have it this way but I know how you don't like red interior and/or bits, maybe someone will swap with you. The series I is the one to get though, trust me when I say this, the size difference between the original and newer car is amazing! IIRC they've got a Duratec Focus crate motor that they were going to put in the owners personal series I, maybe you can make a deal and make that thing a REAL rocket! If you call Eric, I'm sure he can find you the Exige your looking for, some of these guys are always looking to sell their Lotus' because they've got other cars in their collection, if you call Eric, tell him I sent you.

Josh, a little inspiration for you......

Josh, you said something about a Cayman S, well, this isn't one but has the same front end, look at the size difference!

"Josh, get the right car mate.....get a Lotus!"

Those split 7 spoke wheels in the flat black are a HUGE PITA to clean, trust me, might wanna get some different wheels for it, just sayin'.

These fill the bill just fine!

Josh, I know your on the night shift for our run but is there any way possible you could come out and meet the group during the morning/afternoon portion of the trip? Its pretty important that on the 10th anniversary that you make an appearance, hopefully you, Eric and I can get a pic together too, I can't believe we got together 10 years ago already to start doing this.

I may have a couple of days I can take off then, especially if Im driving a Lotus around.

I am actually thinking about looking for a CSVT DD. There's a broke one in the classifieds, needs a diff. T-red/prairie tan too.

I hope you get it Eric, now we need Josh to get another FSVT and then I can get a CSVT too, just like old time back in 2003! Its just 157 more days, plenty of time for you to get the CSVT and get it runnin' Eric, enough time for Josh to get the fiberglass British 2 seater and everyone else to make plans to make it down there.

I saw a black 2002 FSVT the other day, still had stocker wheels and crappy paint on the hood. Thought about gettin a price from him.

Im sure everything has a price

.....for the Million Dollar Man!

IMO the perfect FSVT is one with the CSVT engine in it, a bit more power/torque and the chassis can handle it for sure, too bad they didn't go this route but its still a great car on the used car market.

Eric, what could possibly be wrong with the Camry?
