but why  low on oil:shrug:No pic, But the lower end in my 95's second engine locked up and two of the crank bearings BLEW into pieces. I'm sure there was way more damage too since the motor completely seized...

Lol. Glad you could get her back on the road for Elraido. I make no claims to it at this point, no one knows how to touch her like me .

good question, most likely oil pump failure....how? i have no idea as it seems the oil pump still works, i bought the car Tuesday....half a tank of gas later and the car blows up on my way up to Duluth the very next day, Wednesday. i owned the car for 1 day:blackeye:. chris is helping me out, to some extent, ( free motor would be nice as it seems you have already spent the money) he is trying to figure out what needs to be done, although I'm sure it's rod bearing's. should find out today what the cause to failure was.
no it was a bearing that spun and once you open up the bearing you loose oil pressure due to loss of restriction. I would change every bearing in the motor to celvite 77. Did you run with the OEM bearings? I have noticed way to many stock engine spinning bearing makes me believe the bearing they are using are junk. I know of more than I like to say of engines that have failed more with OEM bearign then aftermarket ones and you have to polish the journals if you have scarrs too.
Others were direct user error (no oil in engine for two others after an oil change).
Did you take the keys away from the owners? :help:
