I'm going to get most of these set for shipment today. I'll make a run to the post office early if all payments are in today/tomorrow.
That's the last of them!!! I'm sure the value will go up now! Being on this site for the past couple days got me excited about the tour again and I think i'm going to fix up the old gal myself and rock it. I'll have to get rid of the lambo doors though....

Turns out that I did have a PayPal account that was setup fraudulently with my email address, so I just claimed it, and now I have a PayPal account! :crazy: Still don't like PayPal, damn gun haters!

I'm waiting on 2 payments to clear (eChecks) and the payment from Hawk. We're well ahead of schedule and I'm sure the 2 payments will clear by Friday. Either way, I'll get these guys stamped and in the mail Saturday.
Look out for the yellow envelopes filled with a little tiny piece of CEG history!
Oh, if you're not into the whole maintaining thing I just found out that you could clearcoat the piece after you apply the SVT emblem to lock in the finish. Otherwise you'll have to maintain it regularly since it is aluminum (just like wheels, piping, etc).

Glad to hear! I remember the bad luck and awful drama you had with that car. Great that the spark is returning. The site and community has changed a LOT in the past few years (mostly for the better).

I'm a real freak about keeping my car clean, but painting is something different. I've cleared a couple small painted items, but nothing metal. Do I have to do anything to the emblem with the mounted SVT prior to spraying it other than making sure it's clean and dust free?
