Need Some Ideas

Well, the clutch went out in her so here she is as she sits.

your getting along farther then me, I dropped a CSVT i just bought over the weekend to a shop, (needs new clutch) I don't think they have looked at it yet lol

And we are working from the ground with only floor jacks and jack stands on a slanted drive. Very easy stuff. Had the transmission out in about 4/5 hours.

I am familiar with pulling the MTX on SHOs, but I have not seen it done on a CSVT yet. Did you completely remove the subframe? Did you support the motor with a jack stand? Why did you leave the drivers axle connected? I would search this site, but the search engine blows. I would get the YEP thread again...

We couldn't get the axle separated from the transmission, which is understandable since they have been together for 14 years. the car still even has the Stab-o-shock. Yes we disconnected the subframe on the transmission side and only loosened it on the other and yes we supported the motor on a scissor jack.
