I dont see many mods other than strait pipe exhaust, most of the interior missing, a couple things painted under the hood, heads and an intake manifold. I dont see anything there that is gonna put it anywhere near 200 at the crank even. I have read as many of your old threads as I could stand reading even. It looks like you have a standard beater 5.0 that you have plans to fix some day, just like any hick with no money. Dont start telling everyone you are the biggest badass around with that. There are contours on this forum I can guarantee are making double the horsepower you are making.

If you have 4.10 gears on it I will race you and I am not modded beyond a standard SVT aside from headers, exhaust, intake, quaife(soon), and a tune.

I will race you on a 1/4 and I will race you on a road course. I guarantee I will spank you on both.

Im sorry, its pretty obvious reading back through your posts you are a noob when it comes to modding, and you dont know a lot about it. If you did know anything even when it comes to your mustang, you wouldnt ask some of the questions you did.

Yes, someday that mustang of yours could be a fast car, but only if someone knows how to mod it and can afford it. You dont appear to fit either of those catagories.

Plus even if it is ever fast, it will still be an ugly 4 eyes. good luck with it though, but I would be careful about who you try insulting on this forum, there are a lot of people who have been around cars a lot longer than you, and you are gonna find, many of us know a lot more than you.

BTW before my contour, I put together an escort that beat modded 5.0s on a regular basis. If I can do that in a 250hp escort, than I guarantee your very lightly modded 5.0 has got nothing.

If I am wrong about your mod list quit being a wuss and tell us what you are packing. You aint impressing anyone by trying to dance around the issue. I read your past posts. Almost all of them.

I got the mustang the way it is from a guy. I have done a lot of work on it. the interior is done just need to be put back in but waiting on carpet.

yea there might be some contours making 100hp over than me but the cant get it to the ground

the reason I pointed that out to you was so you would know that yeah, we know more than you, and a dumb kid is not likely to teach us anything new. Now if you think you know more about mustangs than I do why dont you teach me. Cause I am pretty sure I have rebuilt more 5.0s than you have ever seen.

just so you know before you try and tell us how super powerful your mustang is, they came from the factory with a peak HP of ~200 at 4000 rpm. You think your worn out beater is getting anywhere near that? Even the mods I listed that I could find for your car wouldnt put you over 205 if it was as good as new. The straight pipes are probably hurting it more than helping anyways.


yea there might be some contours making 100hp over than me but the cant get it to the ground
at 300hp you can still get that power to the ground on stock rubber. I can get all my power to the ground and I shouldnt be to far north of 200, difference between me and you, I know how to drive, I have track experience, and I have a car that aint going to flex like a jello mold when I put it into a corner. I guarantee I would leave you way behind. I bet I could do it on the quarter too.

Are you gonna tell us what your mystery mods are that make your mustang so SUPAH POWAHFUL or just keep editing your post hoping that you wont look stupid afterwards?

Mustang is not super powaful but has some power. And i did the mods not the other guy

He won't cause he has nothing to brag about other then the car iself. Which is the reason he keeps posting and talking about just the car.. Its just like what i said.... Heads and upper and lower intakes are from an explorer.

That is it guys. What else could he have? honestly...he has no FI or nitrous or anything. When he bought the svt the original owner had to remove tons of things off the car just so this kid can afford it:shrug: Its not like he is rich...his dad paid for the car..his dad was the one that came out and gave the final okay to buy the car.

Just let the kid go he has gotten tons of help from his parents to have what he has. Ignore his rambling on what he has. He is like 19 years old.

Exhaust: Hooker shorty Headers, 2.5 catback with 2-chamber flows.

Brakes/suspension--89 front brakes with Tokico struts, New Sway bar bushings.

Well the funny thing is the old 86 had 160 hp stock:laugh: so he gained 200 hp from that:laugh:


Chit dog...homie G...my svt has 290whp...dawg. I can hit 10's with my wheels in the air...oh yea its rwd it took it out of my mustang gt i had. It's straight up dope homes.

And harry i did not have the cash at the time. I have since then paid off the contour. I paid for the mustang myself than i needed a diffrent car so i could paint the stang. so i asked my dad for a little help. I owed him 1000 when i got the car. But i owe him none now

Your right i wont bring it to SZ one its kinda apart at the moment.
And its a contour meet. But middle of summer it should be done than i will take you guys on 1/4 or road course.

actually, the 85 GT 5.0 had 210 HP and then in 86 they revised the heads and it dropped to 200HP but bumped TQ 15 to 285.

When I was your age, I bought my first SVT as a second car, and I paid MY OWN cash, after paying for my new truck I got when I was 16. Now, I'd be willing to bet that I own 3 cars (only one Contour before you jump to conclusions) that will take your Mustang on the road course or the drag strip any day. Are those the fastest cars on the forum? Not even close. The point is that there is always somebody bigger, better, and faster than you, so get used to it.

FWIW, I have a free dyno day next weekend. Bring that fox up to Flint, and we'll figure out exactly how little power it makes.
 
Thanks. It was not austin mistakes. the wiring is slowly being done. i am really hoping to clay bar the car when it is going to stay warm and not snow anymore
