my mounts were replaced in october when i had these installed, i had all 4 brand new, and now both fronts are showin threw the towers.

Sorry, I mis-spoke. not the mounts, the pivot bushings. I apologize. They are actually a ball bearing assembly that allow the strut to turn/pivot in the mounts. When they go thats what causes the strut retainer to push up away from the tower. When I took my stuff apart they crumbled.

I on'y scraped maybe 5 times, nothing major.

I bottomed it out maybe 5 times, they were light and caused little if any damage. That's what i mean by nothing major.
