Ugh! Alright I called ClutchNet just now and they said they are packing all of the kits as I type this. All kits will be shipped out Monday. He didn't give me any reason for the delay other then they took their time to ensure quality.
He also mentioned that if anyone else wanted to buy a clutch kit at this price they still can. So you slackers that held off got a stroke of good luck. I think Oleg felt bad for this taking so long so he extended the GB time frame.
If you want in on this GB contact me no later then Monday afternoon and I'll get you setup.

I just got home and there was a slip on my door saying that the UPS guy was by and had a package from ClutchNet. So I guess that means my Clutch is here, I just need to be home to sign for it.... plus pay for the damn Duty charges..

Well now I don't know whether this is my clutch they are trying to deliver today or my ST220 Extrude Honed intake... ahh the suspense is killing me.

Ha! I had two UPS guys running up to my door! Received both my ClutchNet clutch kit and my ST220 Extrude Honed manifold woohoo

Damn it I wish I had the scratch to get down on this. I was looking at ACT but for some reason they make clutches for escorts probes and mustangs but not contours, how fail is that?
Not that I need a clutch right now, but an OE clutch is $5-700 so this pricing for a performance clutch would have been nice to grab one far in advance of actually needing it.

$5-700?? i just bought an oem clutch kit for like $300 :shrug:
OEM clutch kits are like $300 .... plus I read that ACT has the same issues as Spec clutches on fwd cars ... but research it yourself, but I wouldn't want to use a product that is mainly built/sold for imports.
had my turbo 3L out again yesterday and am still very happy with my clutchnet setup. driveability isn't as bad as I feared and it hold the power with no issues.
Can't wait to get this clutch in my car, first performance clutch I will have ever driven and it sounds like it will be nice.

UPS just called....They said I suck, and they won't bother coming to my house tomorrow

That's a bit disturbing... well they are closed for today and will not be open tomorrow obviously.

The info you sent me matches what I sent them, so they should have everything correct.
Hey I know it may seem Like I've done enough calling, but at the end of the day some people still don't have what they paid for... so I don't mind. The way I look at it, I started this group buy and I will do whatever is needed to make sure everything is done right. I won't do stuff half assed that's for sure. So if you need anything or want help dealing with something you just let me know.
