Clutch replacement: Should I do it myself?

Just put a nw LuK repset clutch, resurfaced oem flywheel, timing belt, water pump, pulleys, etc in a 1996 Contour GL.

Holy crap that thing was dirty, rusty, and annoying! We had to take a break to sleep and make a parts run, but my friend and I got it done in two ~9 hour shifts. Neither of us own a Contour, nor have ever worked on one before. The car is my dads.

we were going to pull the motor and trans to do it, but we wound up just lowering the subframe and separating them from each other to change the clutch.

anyways thanks to everyone thats posted advice or pics! I had this thread up for reference whenever the book of lies was failing us (aka Haynes manual)

correct me if i'm wrong, but you have to drop the subframe to remove the struts on the contour, right?
