Carlisle 2010 discussion

I cant belive its only a month away! i'm so excited. I'm just going to be walking around, but I alway look forward to the AFN's! maybe i'll stop by and say hi to ya guys.

I'd say maybe you're stoked because you get to meet me (and possibly walk in on me while I'm changing), but that's just silly talk. ;) :laugh:

...but whatever happens at AFN, stays at AFN :laugh:.....(except for Linda, that gets everywhere)
 
There were 3 Accords with body kits, along with 2 neons, and i a couple other rice burners along Interstate 81 just past Grantville trying to change a tire on one of the Accords. Looked pretty funny to me. and i think they were all heading home from performance and style.
 
Scott, Reanna is rocking the 94 Cavalier Wagon, 2.2L of pure bowtie power (or lack thereof). Seems like a lifeter is going bad, too. Weekends are gonna be busy.

Did anyone else get their window sticker yet? I got mine yesterday, I'm getting more and more excited as the time gets closer. :D
 
got my sticker. Good to see we can head straight for the showfield and not have to stop at the gates to register.
That makes things much simpler.
 
I'm glad someone mentioned the window stickers...can everyone please post the class information on their sticker? I want to make sure everyone's placement is where it needs to be...that way, if there are problems we can correct before the show. I'll start...

Edit:

My sticker is marked B091, followed by name, and 1655. Top has teal stripe, orange on the 2010, and has a blue square on the bottom that says Showfield.

Here's mine: B090 (name) 931
 
I would venture to guess that B090 is the SVT class and the B091 is the Non-SVT class then.

I'm sure Brapple will confirm this for us!

What about stock and modified? I know I am in the modified class, but I don't know what TUFF's 'tour is like. I would like to assume that he is modified, but you know what happens when people assume things. :D
 
nope my is registered as modified. Springs, shocks, bushings, exhaust, svt lim, ported se upper, svt throttle body, scoop induction, lower pre-98 lip, grill, tails, wheels, I'm out of the stock class :laugh:
 
That was what got me stumped. What EXACTLY was considered a "modification"? Performance stuff/wheels-tires? Cause if thats all, it would limit it down, but if EVERY change was a "mod", then we'd all be modified, lol. Carlisle's thing was 3 mods or less was stock and 4+ was modified.

nothing but bolt-ons ;)

Posting everyone's class information is to verify that the SVT and non-SVTs are in the same section (I'm assuming "B") and that folks aren't getting stickers listing another area in the showfield...the consecutive numbers (090 and 091) most likely means both Contour classes will be next to one another as per our decision earlier about the club's placement in the showfield. We've worked hard to make sure the club stays together, so this is a way to make sure things will go smoothly the weekend of AFN.
