Carbon fiber engine covers

I know. But I have some other stuff I am trying to get done with my car. I am working on headlights right now.

that would make sense beacuse everybody is getting ready for xmas right now and $$ is limited. i`ll be ready time new year comes for a cover. question...are the wrapped over an existing contour cover that we have to send in or are the made from scratch?

These engine cover are going to be done earlier than expected.The molding process is going way smoother than anyother that we have done in the resent past.

x2. this was the one thing i was worried about before this GB started. there was little hope to find a really nice one, and without one, the engine couldnt look nearly as good as someone who has one (wa2tuff, pole, chris...)

Right now we are trying a couple of different ways to get this part done and done correctly.
Vacuum Infusion and wetting the fibers then bagging the engine covers are the two that we have done so far.
We should have this procedure perfected shortly, our first test one didn't turn out right but we did a stomp test on the part to see how strong it is and it took a great deal of force so the covers are strong as hell. Customer should have a problem with the strength of part!
