thanks. if i could afford a turbo or supercharger, i would obviously do it. i just wanna have a little more fun while driving the car while not going completely overboard with it. turbo will come later, after i graduate college.

I am 5'8"1/2 and 165 so those seats would be perfect for me. I am a little leprechaun:laugh:

I won't be attending SZ this year, but some work that will be going into my SVT:
NPG Big Brake kit
Hood lift kit
Weapon R Coolant/PS tanks-polished aluminum
3L with custom stainless borla exhaust
roush rear sway bar
possibly new paint
possibly a CD player and new speakers

Midnight blue interior goes nearly perfect with these seats. The evo 8 and 9 seats are actually the same seat. The only difference is the color and upholstery options.

I'm hoping too. It depends on my finals schedule at school. I never understood why SZ is always so early in the year. I think if the people who scheduled SZ would take into account the number of people still in school, as well as the number of people who take vacations, etc. they might consider moving SZ to a later date say June/July/August. Such a busy time of year for a lot of people. But hopefully I can make some arrangements and head out with all the other NE-CEG'ers.
 
Once people have a tradition, it's hard to make too many changes without getting them upset. CEG is full of old people that are set in their ways. :laugh: ;)

It'll be cool if you can manage to make time to make it out! :)

I know :laugh: , but I still have some work to do on the SVT and work has been slow, so the money just isn't there. :cry: I decided to just plan a trip to northern wisconsin for a week with some friends :cool: Maybe next year we'll be back :)

Yeah actually they're both Recaro Sports. In the 8's the only upholstery offered was black suede with the dark blue inserts. In the 9's the upholstery changed to black and grey leather. The MR's were also the same seats just all black with red stitching. I'm sure any of the evo guys on the board can confirm this for me. They're actually the same seats that are in the Saleen SVT. I do believe they offer the seat in different sizes for different waists but I doubt that was an option on any evos.

Ok now I have projects.

Get and install mirko skidplate
Install stage 2 axle's
Find a pre-98 trunk lid,get it painted and installed
Find a trailer to tow the 3l turbo to sz08

You are correct sir, and the Evo 9 seats in the picture is from the MR..
