yup

One of the most poorly crafted Benzes in the company's history. I'd be careful.

hmm, thats interesting. my good friend is a Benz tech, he has a 99 C class and is the one who sent me the link about it as well. he said they went to He!! after that body. said they are pretty much bullitproof.

alright, who brought the snow!!!!!!!

seriously, i about had a heart atack tonight coming back up here. I am driving my buddies 99 tahoe with an empty car trailer behind it. coming up the hills into duluth on 35 and the sucker starts sliding on me!

when i got to the top of the hill near the rest area, i stopped and put her in auto/4wd. did fine going up the hills. loaded and strapped down the car (which is a PITA when 1 wheel likes to go where it wants). got read to go, and decided to leave straight from here. i am scared to death to drive that truck down the hill i wrecked on with bad tires and towing 6000 pounds behid me. (heavy trailer!) so now the car sits ready to go tommorrow morning. i pray the roads are clear in the morning! gots me a long drive! (the gap in the door is stuffed with towels right now, so it stays dry.)

do it! i bet it is fun! more fun than my trip into duluth! it took me about an hour to load the sucker by myself

holy sum of a beach does that thing go threw the snow nice (about 3 inches here) and holy sum of a beach is it easy to get the back end to slide out if you give it too much power. Yeah, do not hit the breaks when the end is starting to go around on you. Only makes it go much faster and further around. After doing that twice, you kind of learn what to do.

Getting the car on the trailer should be easy. Nice 20mph run at it and go up

i already got it on, and it was a PITA. like i said, the car likes to stear itself with a broken tierod. :( tommorrow it goes bye bye :( at least i know it will be in good hands :)

oh yeah, and abotu the suby, thats awesome! we should take it rallying this summer :D

Just go out the midway road way tomorrow. It should be fine that way.

im headed out through WI tommorrow. the snw is almost done, it should be good in the morning.... I hope.

and it wasnt the hills on 35 im worried about, it is the hills away from my aprt complex i am worried about. that is what bit me last time.

that is a good idea though about midway. i should have taken that in, would have been less nerve racking!

It better quit snowing. Tomorrow is already gonna be hell at work. I hate my job already.:nonono:

I need an office job.

there is a job plaecment service downtown. i saw it when walking through the skyways. when i get a chance, i'll let you know what it is called.

if it doesnt quit snowing, tommorrow will be hell!

:laugh::laugh: I knew. 8 track tapes too?:laugh:

Not so much. 8-tracks were really successful, and had their place in helping make music portable, but the overall quality can't hold a candle to cassettes. LPs, as you might imagine, weren't too popular in cars, but 8-track decks sprung up all over the place in the early '70s as Detroit quickly added them to a list of desirbable options. After about 1980, they all but disappeared, having faded steadily as the compact cassette gained ground, proving itself a more reliable medium with far higher fidelity.

Did you know that you can't rewind an 8-track? It's because there's only one spool in the case -- a sort of endless loop, and while the take up side of the spool feeds the tape normally, the supply side pulls it from the center, so if you go in reverse, she'll bind in a hurry. Here's what it looks like:
