what color is better

i had a green svt and it was ok kinda seemed to just blend in with all the other cars.. i dont spend time cleaning my cars like most people do cause i just really dont care as long as the car still drives..

the red is good cause it doesnt get dirty as fast as the black it kinda just changes shades of red lol..

royal/moonlight blue is the better:cool: 'cept they didn't put it on csvt's:rolleyes:

That's exactly why I voted for the red one. I think I'd lose my mind trying to care for black paint.

lol....that is the only reason i bought mine t-red and tan. I'm soo glad i did and i love that i can go through the rain...and the car still looks really clean:cool:

black. Green torments me from my days of my first car, a 96 emerald green t-roc.. That POS went thru 2 engines and 3 transmissions.. one transmission was my fault, the rest was just the car.

Besides who can resist a shiny black car anyway..

I'd definitely vote red/tan. After owning a black/tan Mystique for over 10 years and a red/tan BMW for 15 years prior to that, my next car will definitely be red, although probably with a gray interior. Black just gets dirty too fast, especially for those of us who consider a car wash an annual ritual.

haha @ CustomX157's reply. and I am obsessed with black cars so there's my vote. though red is still a great looking color

I have always been a fan of black. Both are good choices. You should let me get the one you don't want though

Black is the classiest choice. NOTHING compares to a clean black car. That being said, I always liked the idea of tred/tan. I always swore off green as a lame color, but very recently I've been really interested in the T-Green/Euro SVTF Wheel/Tints combo.

I'd keep the black one and do a pre-98 tail light swap.

If you buy some OEM black paint and bring it prepped I'd spray it for free if you gave me some paint, I want to convert my black car to a SeVT.

And a turbo kit for the Contour? I can have SS headers and SS turbo Y-pipe turbo welded up for around 400 bucks with all gaskets and hardware, plug and play. My set (first ones) are being welded now (thankfully not by me). I bet you'll want a set when you see them if your ever in the market.

PS: If your gf does that project I can throw you some fluro pink powder for her valve covers/whatever. I don't use it that much and I'd rather give some away before it goes bad.
