Vinyl protection?

Has anyone messed with the vinyl overlays for the headlights? I dont want the colored ones, just the clear to protect from more hazing.

I have clear bra on both my headlights and it has prevented any more hazing.

You can buy sheet vinyl for about $15 shipped. It needs to be conformed with a heat gun though and cut to shape.

I just use Plastix... as long as you keep the plastic "hydrated" and apply UV protection regularly, you should be alright.

I had the guy do both headlights for $50. . .wasn't too bad and beats doing it yourself and you never have to worry about applying anything again.

I have them on my G, just changed them out last weekend to a new set since I do alot of highway driving and the old set did take a beating, but the lens on the headlight remained brand new, no rock chips, debris, nothing..works like a charm

they also sell the clear headlight covers for our cars .... that with a good coating of wax or plastx will take care of them very well.

I could barely tell you had those at SZ, it just looked like your eye lids were inside the lens.

You're talking about plastic clip ons versus the vinyl overlays? Know where I could get a cheap set of the clear instead of smoked ones?
