just wondering while we are on the subject of oil pressure, does anyone know what the minimum pressure threshold is that trips the stock oil pressure switch and turns on the dummy light?

Reading oil pressure from the head is like trying to get a baby's temperture by inserting the thermometer into it's teddy bear.
That would be why smart people prime the fuel lines first and check them before starting the car.
If you click your car from off to on it runs the fuel pump for a short burst. Do that a couple times and you can check for fuel leaks relatively safely.
