I'm in! Woo hoo!! I'm keeping my plans to do this with you guys, and I must say I haven't been this excited about something in a long time.

Heck, I might even wake up early enough on Thursday and try to catch up with Roger that morning.

Thanks for all the supportive comments; especially considering I haven't met any of you yet!

Wake up early enough, I'll be rolling through I-275 at about 6:40 with my "group" of cars:cool:

OK, I think I can post here now. Can you see my post? Can YOU!? LoL

I've got the Lancer Ralliart. I am 99% sure I can make this trip. I just won't know for certain until next week. I've been reading everyone's posts and trying to find out any info I can about this area/trip. I will be driving solo. I even bought Dan Brown's (author of DaVinci Code) new book-on-tape for the trip down there and for on the way back, LOL.

I'm not sure what else to say. I will post some pics of my car tonight so you'll know what I'll be tearing up out there. PIECE!
 
I think I will be bringing a friend with me to ride shotgun. Will be fun. Can't wait. Now have to see if work will comply.
 
I know I am looking forward to this! Haven't seen my buddies from up north in awhile. This will be my first time staying in the cabins, so I'm super excited!!!

This is THE one to attend for sure:cool::cool::cool: I knew that once it got closer to the date we'd have a couple more guys/gals making it out, now let's hope everyone can get a cabin with the core group, wanna make everyone feel as welcomed as possible! I know some of you guys will step up and take some people in and don't forget about those economy cabins as well as that one that has no electricity that Dixie is getting around to converting to an economy cabin, I'm sure that one can be had REAL cheap and you'd be roughing it for sure, part of the adventure....sure, but like I said, the bathroom/shower thing isn't an issue, we'll let you use ours and other will do the same thing, whatever it takes to get everyone comfortable, just bring your own linens though:shrug:

Also, there are the cabins by the Shell station right on the Tellico River, no problem getting one of those more than likely. Hang out with us at our cabins and then head to those to get some sleep if you really need your own cabin with everything, its no problem at all!

I just had my oil changed yesterday (Mobil 1 0w40), coolant flushed and my K&N filter cleaned. I'm ordering new plugs tomorrow and those will go in next week sometime, the car is ready and I can't wait to see how my new brakes handle the action, can't wait!!!

BTW...

JOE KOCUR NUMBER OF DAYS TO GO! If you don't know who Joe Kocur is, well, go to Youtube and put his name in and sit back and enjoy the beatdowns....
 
What I should have asked before is this: Is everyone staying through till Sunday and driving back home on Sunday? I don't want to get a cabin yet till I know at least some people will stay and head back home Sunday.

we all stay till sunday. IIRC Randy and Billy stayed till Monday last year.
