**STANCE/FITMENT THREAD** Have Questions About Wheel Fitment and Adjustable Suspension? Ask Here!

lol I just noticed you put it in the subject line. Yeah, I have those saved because I really like them. Where did you buy them for how much?

I'm thinking I might be getting those. Except, when I get them, I will be painting the face a different color. Not too big on black with polished lip. None the less, I WANT! LOL

I've been searching all over the site for the backspacing on our oem wheels. Any ideas? Is the backspacing the same on the stock 14 inch steelies, 15 incha alloys and 16 inch alloys? Also wondering what the stock width on the 14 inch steelies is, I've seen it listed as 5.5 inches can anyone confirm? Wanted to confirm the center bore as 63.3. Does anyone of pics of a contour running spacers to achieve the flush with the fenders look?

I think I have a pretty good 'flush with the fenders' look with a +42mm offset and 5.66" backspacing (no wheel spacers), and a 225/45/17 tire

Yeah I understand.
I wanted all silver.
I might change them later, but my car is black so I just went with these.

??? What is the stock offset if 42mm gets you flush? I've got a GL on steelies and I'd need like 1.5 inch spacers to get them flush with the fenders. The offset on the steelies vs the alloys must be miles apart then. I'll just have to do some measuring........

stock offset is 49mm. the steel wheels seem so far in because they are and inch narrower than the alloys.

I agree. ^^ My SVT Focus Euros are 49mm offset with 5.94 backspacing. I figure with a 5mm spacer, I'm still 2mm shy of imnotacop's look. That should be good enough for me though! :)

You need to remember though, being flush with your fender at imnotacops height and being flush with a fender on a car that's slammed are two different things. You need to make sure which 'stance' you're dealing with, slight drop, or slammed.

Still working on the stance of my MR2....

Pretty damn flush if you ask me.... Now just need to get my lip and side skirts and properly adjust my suspension to sit perfectly.
