Ya, idk what i did.. but i can see them fine now. I would try logging out then back in. Might do the trick:shrug:

Happends to me all the time on this site, need to rightclick on the image text and say view image, then it will ask you to log in.
 
well beans..

what i saw was just letters and numbers or whatever. Just like normal text. so i dont even think it would have done anything different then right clicking text.

however, in the other thread when i clicked the quote reply, on the bottom where it reviews the thread, it was links to the pics. So i think after i clicked on that.. the images came up normally:shrug:

EDIT: oddly enough, right after i posted this, the pics stopped working. I did what Beans said and it worked great. Which was weird cause i looke just like normal text. Oh well, Thank you sir

IDK, most of the body kits on their other cars dont seem quite so aggressive. Maybe they were trying to make the Contour more aggressive so it didnt look so much like a Contour. I still think it looks ugly though.
 
possibly trying to make up for its appeal to old people


but i do get where youre coming from. i thing part of it is that the other cars were much more sporty and aggressive by themselves. they might have had somethign to prove... if you know what i mean.
 
I do like the saleen...


But I think a nice SVT with a mikro looks amazing. maybe throw some better wheels and a drop on. But i was never a huge fan of massive bodykits on a car. In most cases, they make the car look worse

I don't like the rear bumper or the vents. I love the front bumper minus like I said the vent and if it splitter??? (the black piece) didn't flare up right before the wheel. If it stayed the same size it would flow so much better with the side skirts. The fenders and the side skirts are :drool::drool::drool:

The front and rear air foils look ugly to me:shrug:
The hood vents look cheap....But the front bumper itself and rear bumper has some good characteristics to it. But the rear wing....is too much. But it;s saleen...many of their saleen cars have adjustable double rear wings.

But overall i like it. It's mostly because it's rare that most people find it appealing.
 
I seem to remember back in the day that most of the people on the boards didn't like the kit on the Saleen. I personally like the car overall, but much of that is simply because of what it is, a 1 of 1 genuine Saleen. As for the body kit, not a big fan, mostly for all the "old" reasons, basically that the over design doesn't flow well with the smoothness of the rest of the car. All the hard creases and lines just fight the natural styling of the car, imo.

Overall though, looks like a heck of a shop and one nice collection of rare cars, just throw a PPG into the collection and you'll end up with CEG'rs making pilgrimages to your shop.

I still kick myself for not grabbing the Saleen back when it was collecting dust at Saleen. :cry:
 
why does the silfro have that double wing ? .. has it got no rear end grip ? I'd like to see the engine and suspension mods. pleeeeez...G.

This is exactly why I dont like it, the hard lines just dont flow at all. Of course, I'm completely ignoring the fact that other than the body kit its basically a stock SVT (at least when Saleen sold it).
