free booze and food to all that help
let me know via pm or here if anyone is willing to help.
My biggest problem is I dont have the right tools right now to do it all so tools would be a major help also.
 
last I checked booze and food isn't free so in essence he would be paying to some extent. I was gonna ask some locals to help due to myself not having the right tools either. I know its gonna suck, but im sure it will be worth it in the end.
 
you eat food right? im assuming you drink booze, so like I said in essence he is paying you because you wouldn't have to pay for food or booze for a day, so he would be paying part of your mortgage, haha!

So you want to pay him a big mac for installing headers? I'll do it, but you'll be buying me two 8oz fillet mignon @ 59.00 a piece, and a couple bottles of johnny walker Blue.
 
Notice how all the EGL guys are knobs about helping a non-EGLer with his car? But if it was an EGL member there would be a big drinking meet and everybody would be happy.

$59 for an 8oz filet!?!?! LMAO you get vasoline with that steak?

No, but I did get single malt whiskey and a nice cigar afterwards. You can buy your meet at kroger all you want, try a real steakhouse and then come talk to me. It is and was the best you can possibly buy. On top of that each piece spends a minimum of 3 days prep time.

It also has nothing to do with him being an EGL or WGL or southerner. I certainly wouldn't help for free even if the guy was living next door. Headers suck. A friend, thats a different story.

And the last time I checked, Todd lives in the WGL... Genius.
 
Who wouldn't charge? I guess Alias. I'd help a newbie do plugs for free and that's about it. I can always come tell someone how to do a mod or repair. I'm good at that. :D I have too much time into learning cars not to get something out of it. It's going to be cheaper than a shop and it's going to be done right. I've done roughly 10-12 engines and 5-6 transmissions I'd guess. Not many can say that. Doesn't even count a few header installs, suspensions etc etc. Car repairing/moding isn't charity work.

WTF is Kroger? Never heard of it. I've been to real steakhouses so don't bother hyping up where ever you go. The best you can buy?.....I doubt that. This has alot to do with being in the EGL. Nothing has changed over the years EGL folks still act as though they are high and mighty. And your response proves it.

Oh and last time I checked......actually I never have. I have no :censored::censored::censored::censored:ing clue where Todd lives so what do I care? Not one bit obviously you sure do though.

If you've been to a real steakhouse then you would know that those prices are in line with some of the best, if not lower.

No clue where todd lives? How about taking a peak at his location 'grand rapids, MI'. Good work captain oblivious.

And yes, EGL is the best. Im sure anyone who lives in any given region thinks their region is the best, so go grab some tissue and continue your crying in the corner.
 
Wow. Alllllllllllllrighty then. Anger issues much? What is the difference in selling the machined GC caps and repairing or installing things on someones car for payment?
