So whos up for helping on a header install

oh for sure, why don't you give those GC caps away. Better yet, ill take a set and ill fedex you a cheeseburger.
 
Hell, lets just do it all pro bono. We'll all live out of grass huts. Sounds like a great time. Viva la hunter/gatherer society.

Same with modding a car. I'll point and direct for free, but I don't bleed for free.
 
I was more looking for someone with the right tools so I could do most of the work. But anyways to clarify it, not even thinking about headers anymore b/c I found out the precats are gutted. If the engine blows and i gotta replace it, then I'll do headers. But for now its not worth the pita install for the small gains

Even with the right tools you couldn't install those headers... ha
 
You're going to need the swivel head gear wrenches. About $70 from Sears. You'll need 3/8 u-joints and an assortment on extentions. I'd also strongly recomment dropping the rad to get the front off. It will save you bloody knuckles in th elong run.
 
I can tell for sure now that the people in the south are way more friendly or"helpful" than you guys. I had OB1 come up to tn from alabama and trhlz222 come down from NC and meet at my house just to put headers on the NC car. He had no clue how and no tools. me and ob1 had the tools and knowledge. We did his header install and he bought dinner we rode around for a bit and all went back home.:shrug:
 
thats because you guys down south are more relaxed we gotta deal with :censored::censored::censored::censored:ty weather and broke ass jobless people. I think your right though it seems like besides a few guys in the egl area there are lots of southerners helping eachother out.

Ha you dont have to tell me about :censored::censored::censored::censored:ty weather and broke ass jobless people lol im off work this week not by choice lol and one major employer next door to mine just laid off qite a few people not to mention shut down for the entire month of july(look up searay boats/brunswick boats) but southerners are aesy to get along with and tend to be more helpful lol You yanks kill me lol
 
im not a typical "yank" by any means. I actually like to help others out in need because I know in the long run it pays off. and believe me you might think you have it bad there but trust me there is a reason that michigan is number 1 on the unemployeed list.
