That's the spirit! But keep those tissues handy. You may need them. I read somewhere that various law enforcement districts were going to start measuring sound output like they do with those road side sniffers I see now and again.screw other drivers.....they have to listen to it for a minute max, if they want to cry about it they can go ahead and do it, but don't ask me for a tissue.
Absolutely. For as long as I've been driving (late 60's) they've pulled you aside for a loud exhaust. I don't need to give anyone an excuse to pull me over because once they do, they could start finding all kinds of other "borderline" stuff. That's why, if you have a "modified" vehicle, you've got to do everything possible not to draw attention to yourself. In other words, you have to behave yourself. It's a price you have to pay. Otherwise, you'll be starting a thread on how you were harassed by the POlice for no good reason. :nonono:the 5-0 would pull you over if you're muffler is too loud right?
Buy a V8...

Hey, if you've got the money to pay for those tickets, great. They still might, at some point, relieve you of your license for your ticket collection so those tissues still might come in handy. Then you can use your dough to pay for public transportation. Why? Because I'm going to cry about a ticket for loud exhaust? Not going to happen....I look at tickets like that as a "operating expense" for my car. Why should i cater my modifications to someone else? F that S.
