Read your second post. You have positively linked the oil and oil type to overheating.
You have NOT left your 'years ago' overheating problem behind as you seem to claim.
Without saying why??? Seems I asked about the output of your so-called IR and got nothing as a result, yet you based an overheating claim on it. No grounds for it on information provided by you thus far.
RYP is damn good product, but there are others just as good and much more reasonably priced. Guess what? I use Walmart Supertech econo Mercon nonsyn in CD4E I personally rebuilt. Now running perfectly for 4-5 years, I'm losing count now. Trans has NEVER overheated.
I would not call 2 months good experience with a product....................not meaning that product is bad, more like your rating method leaves something to be desired.
